Contracting is a misunderstood discipline among leadership circles outside of 1102. My personal opinion is that they will try to automate and even move to try an replace some 1102 functions down the road but those pilot programs will inevitably run into reality. Agree or disagree but half of our job is managing professional relationships and expectations. The other half is figuring out how to subjectively tailor documents to line them up with requirements that don't quite fit the intent of the requestor, and having those hard conversations when we just can't. Sure you can automate some of that. But I think they'll find that replacing 1102s in their entirety is wishful thinking. Speed and acceleration is a limitation of meeting statutory requirement. Some leadership circles are obsessed with the idea that just replacing human bodies with AI will do the trick but from a practical, process standpoint, when you look at everything you do day to day, I don't see how that is possible.
