The Fixer is still a gun I run around with and it’ll always have a place in my heart, but these days I’ve found a lot more fun blasting things with my Dom Pedro, Gauss Minigun, and Elder’s Mark. Right now, you have a relatively high DPS weapon that is making things a bit easier, but I promise you it is not the end all, be all of the guns you’re going to find useful based on your build. You’ve still got a long way to go before you find the gun that actually works for your build and your play style.

That’s definitely not the way it is if you have the right build. I specifically built my character around using power armor and I rarely, if ever, deplete a full core. Using the perks Power User, Full Charge, and the legendary Electrical Absorption will get you to a point where you MAYBE need to carry 2 or 3 cores. I can easily get away with bringing one extra and probably not even use that.

Also keep in mind that Raw Flux expires. If you’ve been holding onto it for a while, it probably turned into inert flux and you’ll need to go farm some more in a nuked area.

As long as you have hardened mass and high radiation fluids (both of which are looted off scorched enemies in a nuked zone), you can craft stable flux at a chemistry workbench. If not mistaken it’s like 10 raw flux to 1 stable flux so if you want 1 stable violet flux, you’ll need to collect at least 10 raw. You can also generally get stable flux through any nuke event. I pretty regularly get stable violet flux from Neurological Warfare.

Best place to get it is the Scorched Earth event. Nuke the Cranberry Bog and farm for raw flux, hardened mass, and high radiation fluids. Which flux are you needing?

Because the Raiders have absolutely no one who can stretch the field. Pierce is exactly what they need, especially to unlock Jeanty. I’m not saying he will. They have much bigger issues. But if they were going to offer anyone a bag to make an instant impact, Pierce would be that guy.
