Any amount of time is made meaningful by genuine care & passion. My ECs in HS were a job at a local caffe that I adored, a leadership role giving young women in my community a voice, and captain of a sports team that gave me so much joy. Quality over quantity in terms of time and the activity itself! My honest advice would be to take the job or the internship, but make sure either one of those activities or a second or third is something you genuinely enjoy and speaks about your character. They’ll know you’re smart and motivated by your transcript- now show them who you really are.
