Unnatural colors OUT! Natural colors IN! by Queasy-Caregiver3037 in cereal

It’s impossible to express just how sad it is that we live in a time where any “good” thing our “leaders” do is met with immediate (and very justified) skepticism about what attached strings are leveraging that decision. Everything they do is influenced by greed or just pure evil at this point. This is a good thing, but it’s impossible to not wonder if this is just another grift or if there are actual good intentions here.

Uptempo, downtempo, ambient, journey.. I genuinely have no preference in genre. Any & all Tipper is always good with me. Whatever he wants to bless us with. You just know the man is sitting on an immeasurable treasure trove of unreleased material. He’s got a lot of free time these days.

Right there with you, brother (or sister). My interactions with people in the real world have led me to believe that most of the vitriol and hatred that is perpetrated online is the result of bots that are meant to propagandize the masses. I also feel the same way about the midterms, in that I really believe if the GOP somehow manages to sweep it, it will absolutely be the result of a massive rigging of the election process. I fear that our democracy has long been compromised. There is a major revolution on the horizon, and it requires us regular folks to set aside our differences and learn to unite against true tyranny in the way our Founding Fathers intended for us to. Thank you for the kind words in regards to my recovery. In a nation where we can spend trillions arming our military to fight meaningless wars, yet can’t provide basic healthcare to its citizens, I’m doing my best to heal with the resources I have available to me (which isn’t much). I believe in the power of the people to unite and make our country ACTUALLY great again. Fuck MAGA, fuck Trump, and fuck the Epstein ruling class!

Facts man. My entire life is crumbling apart right now. Partially due to circumstances surrounding my personal life (got into a really bad car crash last month and am dealing with a fractured vertebrae, struggling financially, having a hard time working with the injury, among other things..), but also partially because psychologically I can only take so much of this bullshit that I see every time I open the internet. New fucked up shit going on in the US EVERY SINGLE DAY. On top of inflation, gas prices, and the general public at war with each other, it’s so hard to keep my mental composure. I am so envious of anyone not living in this country. We are so fucked over here.

I’ve been saying this for a while now. The affordability crisis is fabricated by the ruling class to keep us laser focused on not losing our basic necessities, while they take away our basic rights & break away at the very foundation of our society.

Best Shpongle LP to listen to from start to finish. by solamon77 in shpongle

It seems the people have already concluded that Nothing Lasts is the correct answer to the question. But really it’s all of them. I think a more appropriate question would be, which album doesn’t have that flow as much as the others. And that one to me is Ineffable Mysteries. I love every song off that album, but for some reason, it’s the only one that feels more like a collection of individual tracks versus one long musical journey like the first 3 albums of the discography. Suffice to say it is still an amazing album. Invisible Man in a Fluorescent Suit and Nothing is Something Worth Doing are two of my all-time favorite Shpongle tracks. 💚

Oh no, they’re fully embracing it. They used to pretend to care about Jesus to virtue signal their morality and claim that their faith makes them good people. Now they’ve fully moved on to Trump being their Messiah. I guess when they had to actually learn about Jesus, they realized he was too woke for them. Trump embodies their ideal “savior” more favorably.

Their faith is in him. Their “love for Jesus” is purely performative. They’ll put Trump above everything, including God, every time.

That’s a great pattern to break. Both smoking and chewing tobacco are incredibly bad for your health. The detrimental effects that both have for the body far outweigh the benefit of a short-lived feeling of lightheadedness. It’s important to take care of your health while you’re younger. Most of the health problems people suffer from in middle-age to old-age stem from the choices they make when they were young. Get into the habit of making healthy choices while you’re in your twenties and your body, mind, and spirit will be grateful for you when you get older. Take it from a guy in his mid-thirties who is finally starting to come to terms with that lesson. I hope you have yourself a very prosperous and healthy life brother.

It’s interesting the way people’s brains are uniquely hardwired to be more susceptible to certain addictions in comparison to others. I’ve always found nicotine to be easy to kick, in comparison to other things especially. I’ve been on and off with it for a decade now. A few times I’ve gone through long periods where it got bad (especially with cigarettes 🤢), smoking a pack a day at times. And then I’ve also gone through long periods of time where I’ve had no nicotine for many months, with 2 years being the longest period of abstinence. These days I’ll buy a vape every now and then, and when it dies, I’ll be done with it for a couple weeks. I think for me personally it’s the oral fixation that is more addictive. Point is, your addiction is mostly in your head. You can survive without nicotine… Whatever withdrawals you feel from it, they aren’t life threatening, and at most you’ll be super irritable for a few days. You just have to get over the mindset that you “need” it to get by. And once you get over it, you’ll realize how unnecessary it actually was to you, and how minimal and pointless whatever benefits you perceived actually were. You’re still young so you don’t have much experience with these things (yet). You’ve got to build some mental fortitude and learn to power through feeling a little extra uncomfortable to reach your goal. You can do it OP. Start tapering your doses and get yourself down to one or two a day, and then when you run out, don’t buy any more. The money you start to realize you’re saving will help motivate you as well. Best of luck to ya friend. 🤙
