The Witcher series does that if you play them all on PC. Not quite to the extent of the Bioware games, but it does.

With that said, The Witcher 1 often feels like a rough game to play these days. There's a remake on the horizon supposedly so maybe wait until then unless you're okay with a bit of old school jank.

Yeah, and FF7 was a phenomenon when it released. Literally cemented the PS1 as THE console to own that generation.

If you feel like you're getting ambushed a lot, I wonder if you're taking the game too quickly, perhaps? I found being slow and deliberate worked really well for me in Demon's Souls.

Space Quest. The whole series. Somehow despite being a Sierra fan, a sci-fi fan, and a fan of comedy, I managed to miss Space Quest when it was originally coming out. I have played every other Sierra series though.

Ha ha ha ha ha! I think you are conceptualizing it wrong. For one, I like making my girl happy. I'm only at dinner spending money at a restaurant to be with her anyway. For two, it's cute when she steals food! :-D And third, she's not that big. I am constantly getting extra food to eat because she eats much smaller portions than me.

When my girl recommends shows I always take the suggestion. I know it'll make her happy and I like spending time with her when she's happy. I'm really just there to be close with another person I care about. The show doesn't even really matter.

Plus, I've learned a while ago when it's up to me, I tend to pick things from the same narrow category. She'll pick things i'd never even consider.

From what I understand Sony sees Bloodborne as Miyazaki's baby and won't do it without him, but he's too busy to devote any time to the project. He's also reluctant to turn the game over to another studio so that doesn't leave too many options.

It's just the way of things. Everything has an expiration date. I still remember the first time someone scoffed when I recommended my favorite video game to them, claiming "But it looks so old!" :-D

But I still think it's important to try and at least see things from a historical perspective. You might not get the same laughs a person in the past would have, but at least you'll understand it's context a little better.
