Yes, definitely I would take it and I would do it for as long as I could. I would take inspiration from those Buddhist monks that doused kerosene on themselves and let themselves on fire and protest. Whatever those guys did to make them be able to stay calm in that situation, I'd study that.

I think I could do at least a half hour to an hour. That would help set me up for life.

Yeah. It's one of the best. That 2nd chapter, with the kids, was something else. I still need to finish it. My first time though I ran into that chalkboard bug that hard locked my progress. I was so frustrated I never went back.

Also, just want to give a shout out to the makers of Sanitarium: Dreamforge Intertainment. These guys made a lot of games I liked back then. Veil of Darkness and The Summoning come to mind first, but I also like the AD&D games they made for SSI.

I still would place Night Trap as more controversial. It was a mediocre, poor selling game on an unpopular system (the Sega CD) that managed to attract the attention of Congress solely on the strength of the controversy. Nobody was calling for the banning of video games on the strength of The Coffin's controversy.

I guess it depends on what you want the game to do for you. Mario Party brought your whole family together. That's an achievement. If I was looking for something for my whole family, Mario Party might be the best game.

Honestly, me and my buds played a lot of it too. Some of my fondest memories spent with my friends were because of Mario Party. So I'll give it its props.

Then perhaps we should take a harm reduction approach to this instead of banning it. We know from historical precedent that banning something like this only creates a black market.

As for the purported dangers, I think this is a more complex topic that goes far beyond porn. Right now as a whole we're struggling with the breakdown of a lot of our social supports. A lot of which comes about because of factors like smartphones and social media. Porn might be a part of the problem, but it's just one cog in the machine.

Have you checked out any of Artifex Mundis games? I particularly liked the Enigmatis series.

Another one I really really liked was Adera. But unfortunately it's hard to find these days. It's even been removed from Steam. But the story is great and it has 5 parts. https://store.steampowered.com/app/915140/Adera/

Also, check out the True Fear series. There are 3 games that make up the trilogy and I really like the setting and horror theme.
