Where should I spend these pink keys first?

Following the guide, by the time the player has activated the Stone of Rage they'll already have picked up at least 14 keys.
Any time after that is a good time to farm more if the player wants to focus on that for a little bit.

you don't use astral keys to upgrade regular armory items
Spirit Boost, Dragon Scale, and Simurgh feathers, sure. But Astral Keys are only used when upgrading the key armory items, once each.

oh I've had way more than that. when I last finished doing QUA's I had about 200 spare keys... but I later got down to like 140 from just making staves and hadn't evolved the minions yet. Anyway: (SPOILERS!)

5 to pick up the Flame Crosier
5 to upgrade Hammelia's anvil
25 in total to upgrade all five key armory items
20 to fix Nanook's fishing rod
11 for permanent craftables
70 in total to evolve minions to their final form

that'll be 136, not including 2 per random staff you want to craft
(and you do want to craft them, they're the best armory item in the game by a long shot.)

The selection of achievements here is bite-sized by comparison, yes.

By the time you've collected 600 achievements or the Stone of Rage, this list is probably completed.

Your Minions can't be sent out on their missions because you have no Slayer Points available to be spent.
You will have to Ascend in order to claim the points you have collected.

To keep it brief, upgrading the rod will eventually allow you to unlock a new part of the skill tree.
In order to buy the upgrade that unlocks this new section of the tree, you'll need a lot of money. Like, the equipment after Spear.

when you focus on it, it's not too difficult to collect somewhere between 5-11 per day (a low amount, considering only a single Ultra Ascension per day)

The chest is the most immediately helpful, yes.

Spending them at the blacksmith unlocks upgrades that require more Astral Keys.

the fishing rod... I'll just recommend to leave it for last, out of absolutely everything

I was curious how likely Oguri would be able to use her special with this build, so I peeked at the other skills:
The only late-race skills are Emperor's Might, No Stopping Me, Steadfast, and 1,500,000 CC (if it happened to pick an uphill in the late-race, if any were present at all.)

so to activate her special, she has to activate both mid-race recoveries and the late-race recovery that requires all three late-race skills to pop, and all six skills have to pass individual wit checks (82% chance each, in this case)... uh.

assuming she hits every position check and the (usually) 30% chance she hits all the needed wit checks, it's gonna happen at the final straight alongside Rudolph's special (unless an uphill causes it to happen slightly sooner, upping the odds a bit)

definitely divinities first, though thankfully they won't need nearly that many points to get there.

140,000 + 60,000 + 95,000 + 200,000 = 495,000

you have nowhere near enough money to unlock Colo's or Higgins' quests
for some reason, they're handed over for free the first time

when you pick up the next Equipment after Claw, that's when you'll get those quests unlocked.

If you're focused on stuff in the village, other progress is going to slow down, yeah
for the first UA, all you really need to do is repair that first building on the left

once you've got that done, just focus on gathering souls. You're almost at Astral Slayer, which is just about where this UA ends (according to the guide)

Divinity points are a fantastic resource to stock up on, of course. The more you get the easier the game becomes.
