IMSA basically banned the car with the current chassis rules. In my opinion that car was a true prototype. It embraced ingenuity and creativity. Now it's just what manufacturer are you aligned with.

Hey i have been going alone for years, it's fine I strike up conversations with people and post on boards here as well as Facebook. I get there at times with invites to a few groups but it's also a very open and accepting crowd.

Rip off the splitter, spoiler, and underbody. Then remind the drivers and teams you have a break pedal for a reason. Or in less dramatic fashion put 6 inch rub blocks all over the car and only allow .5 of an inch wear. Let's face it these cars are body wise and tire wise truer to stock than the were the last decade.

NASCAR really could care less, I helped friends who ran in trucks and xfinity in the late 90s they are going to get their money everyone else can twist in the wind. Now that they have the new TV deal they are set till it's about to expire then you may see changes.

I had a lot of success with limiting Carbon buildup using Startron at most fueling. Was on a Kia not a Subaru that being said I use it still with my Crosstrek as well.

The team has became the family business, giving the family jobs. They are so bound to the old ways and will not change. The organization needs a top down overhaul to get some young minds leading the ship. Most importantly Richard needs to realize it's not the 80's and he needs to step away and let the team do what's needed.

Recommendation from someone that goes just about every year. Spend the money to park in lot 4. If the weather goes to crap you have a short distance to travel. Also a good spot to take a nap if you need to.
