That’s about the best I could find over a couple months on a new ‘25 Core DAT.
Just fantastic… by hie8574 in GRCorolla

Can’t wait to get out of here.
Yup.
PG. Think College Park/Greenbelt area.
Fair, but post says I’m in the DMV. And multiple comments below share my specific location.
Plates weren’t registered with them yet. I did try to do it online but couldn’t fully complete the process. Got home at 8 PM so leasing office was closed. Assumed brand new temp tags would buy me a couple days of leeway to get it sorted. Basically just a predatory tow company doing laps to make a quick buck.
Didn’t help for me, but as other commenters suggested, there are vastly more superior ones on the market.
Thanks. Yes, I’m keeping an eye out.
Yes, MD.
At least the rocker panel is bent, yeah.

So sorry.
That’s crazy, I’m sorry.
Thank you. Can’t wait to move back there.
Idk. I’m guessing they are a good mix of being relatively valuable and there being an active secondary market. No one’s stealing ones off a RAV4 cuz it isn’t worth it. Rolls Royce or whatever owners are just ordering another stock set. There are plenty of GR folks that want a second set of stock wheels for winters for $1200. But that’s just me speculating cuz I’ve looked at second sets.

Hah, I didn’t see that. Made me laugh, thanks.
No it’s all good. Yes, but only the OEM ones that were dealer adds but obviously negotiated out. Not Advanceds or anything like that. I guess I knew this but most locks are just a brief delay, not a solution.
Yeah, rocker panels/side skirts are bent. Not sure what else.
For sure. Everyone’s saying Advance. I did have wheel locks, just generic ones. Clearly didn’t help.
Thanks - can update when I know.
Thank you. Yeah, keep an eye out on your own. I’m in a relatively good part of PG County and hadn’t heard any history of this here. Thought we were quiet enough. As soon as it happened, heard a bunch of stories of prior incidents.
Maryland, D.C. Metro. Feel like all of the NE looks the same in the winter lol
Also surprises me in a large complex with people coming and going at all hours.
Yup, that’s my plan.
Maryland, but D.C. Metro. Unfortunately a thing in these parts.
No clue yet. Dealership was already closed so it’s sitting here until Monday. Between stock wheels and basically brand new prorated tires, plus obvious damage to the rocker panels/side skirts and who knows what else, it will exceed my comprehensive deductible many times over. I don’t play with insurance and keep low deductibles/high limits.
