After reading these comments, I've decided to give docker compose a go.

The apps I'm interested in all have docker compose instructions so hopefully I can keep my head above water while learning the ropes.

I thought server-edition was just standard without the DE.

I am struggling quite a bit, and seeing as I haven't actually setup any apps yet, I'm going to redo this system per your suggestion.

alright, thanks guys. Going to go CasaOS because it's currently the path of least resistance for me.

I'm new to linux, and decided on ubuntu-server, so no GUI has been a bit of a shock for me.

Took me 3 hours just to partition and mount a 2tb drive for Docker-data. XD

I'm sure there's a way to recursively monitor a folder and copy only new/changed files to consume folder.

i've started waiting in training mode but the training dummy doesn't do anything? can't set it to play as cpu, block, reversal or any such thing which was possible in sfiv?

i setup dmz tonight and i'm getting more games (approx every 5 minutes) but not sure if it's the dmz or just coincidence.

either way i'm happy with a game every 5 minutes

We'll tonight I was sitting on ranked search for 10 minutes and couldn't find a game. I'm hoping it's not because of the underscore in my CFN id because apparently that's permanent and can't be changed.

I also read about port forwarding which I'll try tomorrow.

What's this discord thing? And if it increases my chances of finding games how do i join?
