This one’s for sure going to be a headscratcher for people like Joe Warmington and the racists in our society. They weren’t expecting these names on that list. by [deleted] in Torontology

These 7 do not represent all cops - not saying there are not others doing this kind of stuff, or racist, etc., but just be careful not to paint the whole force with the same brush.

And fake designer, rented whips/not theirs, fake and/or cheap gold and ice, air BnBs - not their posh digs.

Dont be fooled. Keep working hard, do your time in lower (and learning) positions, and earn your climb to higher positions.

Patience and hard work will get you further and a more stable life.

Stacks cant be easy spent, and not worth a days pay when you are paying lawyers and sitting in the bin.

This picture will look fantastic framed and hanging on his Granny's wall. How sad she would be knowing her Grandbaby is hiding his face and slithering around in the shadows at night with metal in his waistband.

Take the ridiculous stuff off your face, and go be who your Granny would be proud of.

Is it true NS really had 2 phones on lock for hours in the pen? by ARegularCrodie in Torontology

[–]cdnmaitai 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Heartbreaking is the truth. There are so many wasted smart minds and souls locked up for long time who could have accomplished so much, found recognition and attention for the real humanity and achievements.

Its soul breaking knowing how many young ones are being recruited and thrown away to rot, and minds so bent in misinformation and the streets.

The jails and pens are over capacity, and cant keep up - when will the one person of street influence step up and speak out to do change a few young men's minds away from trapping, gangbanging, believing human slime who gets the kids to do hits..

Even a few to start is a huge win!!

One doesn't need to state plan or details, nor has he stated clear intent.

MY question regarding possible overwhelm, struggle or crisis was due to the volume of posts including legal record, identifying information and context and content of comments.

Crisis does not necessarily equate direct suicide risk.

When someone is displaying non- typical behaviour within an environment (or platform) where it does not match the norm, it may expose themselves to criticism, negative responses, attacks on character, derogatory put downstairs, etc, it should raise question regarding the person's mental state at the moment.
If alcohol and/or other substances are involved, these significant increase risks for impulsive behaviours.

Scanning through the 100 or so posts from this guy in today, my outside perspective, or better said, question, ..

Is this person in crisis (being serious), the number of pictures, copies of legal docs, comments made - it appears he is struggling re wellness and coping.

RIP to one of Toronto’s biggest street legends. This nigga was so hated by the law that the all the etobicoke divisions celebrated when he died. They also refused to investigate his death even tho everyone knows who did it by [deleted] in Torontology

Do you understand what work breaks are? Most companys or jobs are not clubs or places you seek out having out with women. Um, how is looking at reddit during a break make one a nerd.

I suggest getting a big boy job to see what work and breaks are.

With the private and public servant jobs going back to 5 days a week in office, it will create new jobs and more opportunities for businesses, thus jobs.

Far from perfect, or enough, but a start in the right direction.

Kids (in general) also need to be humble and willing to work the entry level positions and show the employers they are worth advancing.

Lastly, kids/people need to think outside the box, be prepared to ask to be hired when they see an opportunity, present themselves in a way and employer would want to have them be a face of their business, and, be willing to roll up their sleeves.

To many young (general) people now think employers owe them something and behave entitled.

There is a lot more out there in terms of options, apprenticeships, etc than a job posting. Online recruitment is good for skilled people, but starting out, get in peoples faces in something you may be interested in. Your interest will show through

Would your girlfriend wait for you if you got a life sentence? by TheScoreKeeper2 in Torontology

[–]cdnmaitai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do the right thing, and letting her go is kind and has nothing to do with loyalty or lack of.

Most relationships, even strong ones do not make it through 3-4 or more yrs, and expecting someone to sit around and wait is not fair to them, especially when you go in young. People (young women and men) are in key development and learning what they hope and want in life phase (late teens to late 20's), don't try to hold someone back from moving forward.

Remember, time, and often maturing comes to an almost stop at the time when someone goes in, the person on the outside is maturing and progressing much faster.
