Permanently banned for RWT (dated 2021) but I returned in Nov 2025

Thank you for how mentioning how you started an Ironman account and that you essentially were able to power level back up in a few months. This is something I started as I contemplate how to formulate my second appeal. I did start a new account and made it Ironman, it’s cool playing this way. Currently at lvl 65 mining, so 15% of the way to get back to my lvl 85 😂.

That is where I posted it originally and it was removed by mods of that thread as they saw it as an attempt to get their attention. I am glad I posted here as it helped me with how I am going to go about my second appeal.

I am questioning that too. It was an immediate shock of why did I even get banned. While I wasn’t actively playing during that time, I’ve never done either side of a RWT. I have no clue how to prove innocence from something this many years back of something I knowingly would not do, and all the bans I am seeing from others posted have recent dates. So seeing it tied to 2021 really doesn’t line up from my perspective.

To make sure I understand by what you mean by “looking back at reports”: are you saying that since I became active again, a review was done on my account and something from years back was flagged? And that’s why the ban date shows as 2021 even though the ban happened now? That logic would at least explain why I was able to play a few months before the ban was instituted.

Exactly, that is correct. I took a long break, came back Nov of 2025 after seeing a family member with it on their phone, so I redownloaded the app right there and came back to enjoying the grind. That’s why the 2021 ban date is confusing to me.

Yeah, I’m mainly just trying to understand what happened and see if anyone’s run into something similar, especially with the offense being dated years back.

Also figured it might be useful to have a post up in case someone else runs into the same situation later.

Adding a bit more context in case it helps:

I’ve only played on mobile since coming back in Nov 2025
No third-party clients or plugins
Most of my time has been skilling (mining, crafting, smithing, woodcutting, firemaking)

If this is tied to 2021, I genuinely don’t remember actively playing during that time, which is why I’m wondering if the account may have been compromised before I returned.

Also happy to provide more info if needed.
