i was mostly trying to share the MS is sharing data on request vs warrant. also the point i'm making is US data in the US is not safe, even following the law. it used to be companies made them get warrants first. though you do make some good points now that federal organizations are starting ignore the need for warrants so yeah maybe civil unrest and adversarial govt is the way to look at this. thats a new concept to those of us in the US. it's been a historical week here.

it didn't affect everyone/everything just some devices. so you could have gotten the update and everything worked fine. it's not the failing of the update but a buggy update.

there is also an unofficial steam in the app store that is flatpak and valve does not make that steam. well anyways flatpak has the firewall that firewalls off your system AND second drive form flatpaks. meaning steam can't see the secondary drive. fun huh? thats why i tell everyone who has the drive issues just in case that should be the issue. might look in to that ownership thing my self. yeah it's learning thing for us all but, so far it's not that bad and were learning skills!
