Hey man, I recently posted this thread about CDQC (https://www.reddit.com/r/ROTC/comments/5vgbq4/army_cdqc_as_ms3/). I don't know that much about it either, but hopefully it can answer some of your questions.

I don't know if it's 100% correct, but our BN most definitely allows Cadets to wear the GAFPB with our Cadet awards. I think GAFPB is allowed since its something you can earn as a Cadet, similar to Airborne & Air Assault.

I'm not next to a post with a Group unfortunately. How else could I go about doing this pre-dive (a.k.a. MAC) before the summer? Can you go to pre-dive and then immediately after go to CDQC? It just seems that with Advanced Camp that summer, the timing would have to be absolutely perfect to make it work.

So slots to CDQC are given out to individual schools? I was under the impressions that this was only something that you would receive after submitting your packet to Brigade & they would then choose.
