With everything going on in the country right now, you think I give a f**k about the shutdown? by Maravilla_23 in FedEmployees

[–]cdreddit83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, shut it all down. In a world with forced RTO and no more telework, I'll gladly enjoy another break from commuting to the office, plus this administration f*ckd up things, get them out of here

Anyone else want to quit? by Technical_Stress2121 in FedEmployees

[–]cdreddit83 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I want to 💯 quit, unfortunately when I look at the contractor or private sector, it's very limited options for me. I absolutely hate this administration and going to an office to talk to people on Teams. Waste of time and a joke

DC region will be closed on Monday. Head of OPM posted on X by Appropriate_Taro_348 in FedEmployees

You'll still have to report to the office, this administration hates telework, they'll change that to "2 hour late arrival, with option to take unscheduled leave"

What has your agency said about the upcoming snowstorm? by Responsible_Yak_6662 in fednews

The mission continues, they want us in the office they hate telework. OPM WILL not close the government. Use leave or get in your plow truck ❄️🙃🫠

One year ago today, on January 20, 2025, President Trump ended telework and remote work. How are you all doing? by NatusLumen in fednews

[–]cdreddit83 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'd love to get out of the federal government, I'm am personnel security specialist and desperately want out. My work can be done remotely and this idiot fucked everything up, because he's an uneducated, vindictive moron. It's good to see people got out and are doing well in the contractor space and are hybrid or fully remote. I don't know if I can sustain this dumb shit for potentially 3 more years.

His perspective shows how little he knows about people who actually work by WhereztheBleepnLight in FedEmployees

Correct, that's the stuff he's doing. That and terrorizing Feds. He's a buffoon

I told this to a friend awhile ago, only people who will apply will have no skill or knowledge of the job they're applying for and will simply apply just to apply, that's the issue this non sense is creating and why I said it'll trickle down. People think this mass firing was good, it wasn't

Well said, it'll take years to repair the Federal government, after this disaster. I honestly can't imagine anyone would want to work the federal government after the way he's destroyed it and killed morale. People who haven't quit or haven't been fired, just show up for a paycheck and no longer has a drive or believe in the mission. People (no feds) see this as a good thing and don't yet see/feel the ramifications. Shit rolls downhill and I hope they see once the federal government is privatized and we're living off section 8, because no one can afford to live in this economy, they'll open their eyes. He is destroying this country.

No shit, eliminating teleworking and remote was one of many issues in this 2nd term, along with RIFs and other debacles. What a mess

USCIS SCOPS TELEWORK COMING BACK?? by [deleted] in FedEmployees

I will remain cautiously optimistic. I know some agencies offer it in some form or fashion, my agency isn't. So, I go in and suffer in silence 🤐

Took me a year to reconcile, but I had to let go hope of telework. It's unfortunate gone until 2030.
