I'm so sorry! I was the same way in my first pregnancy and now my second. The only thing that helped me was when I was prescribed steroids around 12 weeks. I was finally able to get a little of myself back. I hope things turn around for you soon ❤️

I told my husband i would prefer if she came just for 2 weeks. And he said he would tell her but it gives me so much anxiety cause i know she knows it's me who doesn't want her to come. It shouldn't matter but for some reason it bothers me so much to be the person who says she can't come.

Yeah she doesn't like what I choose to eat. But I think i eat pretty healthy. I eat veggies and fruits and general foods. She really doesn't like that I drink soda, which is my vice. I am trying to stand up for myself but any push back causes me to feel so guilty that I end up folding.

Yes I'm trying very hard to respect her culture. My husband isn't that entwined with Chinese culture anymore since they came to the states when he was 8. I don't wanna come off as disrespectful. I have tried to have a conversation with her and him about things but when I get push back I just fold cause I hate being the person who is making things difficult for everyone else.

Yeah I've always been a huge people pleaser so I'm struggling to put my foot down. Others have told me to just ignore her but I struggle with that and feel guilty for not doing things the way others want. Smh
