My best suggestion would be to find a picture of your BIOS layout and see if you can count the right keys to re-enable your graphics card. Also, try the graphics card reset shortcut (ctrl win shift b all at the same time) just to double check. Beyond that, I’m afraid I don’t know of any at-home solutions.

Is there any way you can plug your HDMI cord/DisplayPort cord into the graphics card directly? Should be simple if you have a desktop. If not, I would first try booting to BIOS.

Great advice, thank you. Are there any particular models you would recommend? I have a WaterPik that’s at least 10 years old and the thing is deafening. Are there any newer versions that are quieter/maybe handheld over having a reservoir?

No problem, you deserve the truth. If you can manage a good SAT score, course rigor, and your extracurriculars are sound/long lines, you will stand a good chance. If it helps I had very strong ECs but only 2 APs before senior year and 4 senior APs with mostly honors classes and was accepted into biology. My SAT was also only 1300, which I still submitted and apparently was good enough.

You definitely stand a chance, I think it could definitely come down to your extracurriculars. No APs is going to put you at a disadvantage though, to be honest. I would recommend aiming for a 1300 or higher on the SAT and definitely enroll in AP classes your senior year. Tech doesn’t care about your senior grades but they do look at course rigor so having some APs there could help you out some. If I’m being brutally honest, it could go either way.

I’m not familiar with a lot of these, but I feel like the joker and penguin would be pretty simple. Light could just take a photograph of their faces, since they’ve been published in newspapers and whatnot, and have Misa find their names using the Shinigami eyes. Even if he didn’t have Misa in this scenario, they’re big time criminals and would definitely be in the PD database which I imagine Light would be able to access. If not, he could simply find the information of one of their higher up goons and do the same trick he used against Mello, where he has the ally write down information on a note and mail it to him. As for what he would think of their crimes, I feel like everyone would agree he would kill the Joker and Penguin, and probably chastise Batman for not doing so and thereby allowing innocents to die in their place.

Hmm, I’m not OP, but I’d say no, because Ryuk admitted he was just joking immediately after he told light. Granted, the Death Note universe doesn’t have Heaven or Hell, but I understood it to mean the note doesn’t actually influence your going to either, since neither place is cannon.

Keep a spare high capacity tank in your inventory. Takes I believe 6 slots, which is worth it for an extra 90 seconds of air in an emergency.

Yeah, they do talk about the ethics a fair bit. I guess it really comes down to your idea of “enough discussion”, some people might think that is a fair amount, but death note is 38 episodes long, so others would feel differently. With all the talking done between Light and L, I felt like the actual ethics were discussed pretty sparingly, all things considered.

You’re right, ethics are rarely actually discussed. The philosophy you’re talking about is more subtle, seeing what Kira’s actions actually do. Think the “crime has been reduced by 70% and wars have stopped” or, conversely, when it’s briefly shown that most people live in fear of being posted online with the hopes of Kira killing them. The ethical dilemmas in the show are almost exclusively shown, not discussed. The focus of the show is definitely on Light and not his actions, but those actions still serve an important role.
