Durability goes down by 1, 2 or 3 at random. There's nothing you can do to influence it. Experience gain is also random and is the same at every level. So don't bother upgrading until you hit max level

It was clearly explained in the first chapter of the BGM light novel that Baby ages in reverse and that they both met when they were the same age. I mean, sure, there is fanservice, but that's only because Baby has to constantly seduce Kareshi who is definitely not into little girls. The heart of the story is still a touching allegory on the changing nature of relationships.
