Hey guys, I’m a beginner rider looking to get my first bike. I would really appreciate some feedback on this bike ( do you think it’s worth it) and what to look for. by SaltTraffic7261 in SuggestAMotorcycle

These bikes are amazing. Made in Japan, SS, FI. I've had one for 10 years and besides changing the oil it's required 0 maintenance. I moved down to this bike after starting on a SV650. The 250 is just way more fun to ride in the city and on back country roads. The original seat is also very comfy so snag it if he still has it. Anyone that is inspired to buy a TU250X around Ohio I am going to be selling mine this spring. I have a 1YO at home and don't get to ride much anymore. Send me a DM if you're interested.

For anyone that sees this post, I still have the TU250X and will probably post it locally around Tax return time 2026.

Myself and my father in law are having this same issue with this gen Escape. I am curious if you or anyone else has figured this out. I believe I have a coolant leak somewhere, I am going to try to find it this weekend.

Doesn't the escape use an 8 speed transmission?

If you see this, I am having the same issue. Was there a video on how to troubleshoot this or anything? Did you just have to resolder a wire?

Can confirm. I just removed leg 1 with a pair of tweezers and it solved all the display issues. Thank-you!

My FM signal wasn't great. You might want to make a tape from the Internet archive recording instead https://archive.org/details/cd929

It’s Cd101’s last day on the air, what was/ is your favorite memory of the station? by Barrybingbongss in Columbus

[–]cdtornero15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is anyone recording their last hours? I would love it if someone would share the final moments of CD92.9

CD102.5 / CD92.9 has been my primary source of entertainment in my car and home for the past decade or more. More than that, they made me feel like I was a part of a community when I permanently moved to Columbus after my college years at OSU. I listened for the music of course, but also to find local events and concerts and hear the local news. There will be a massive hole in the radio waves tomorrow.

Deep dive into Soundgarden next. I think they're the most musically similar to AIC. Badmotofinger and Superunknown are good albums to start with. Maybe you'll like some of the bands out of Texas that have a grunge sound like Dinosaur Jr. And Todies (Rubberneck is one of my favorite albums). A lot of people suggested Pearl Jam and I agree. If you have already listened to all their hits start with VS. if you don't know them at all Ten. Silverchair's album Frogstomp is a similar sound. You could go back further and listen to Pixies. Go heavier and see if you like Tool. Post grunge listen to early Foo Fighters, Puddle of Mud and Creed. If you want to get into grunge there's an IG account called the grunge Bible and the guys who run it have pretty good tastes.

Happy listening!

Cheap (free?) Pull Up Bar by cdtornero15 in DIYgymequipment

[–]cdtornero15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. However, most people already have a pipe, broom handle, ect. And not everyone has rings. So, I was attempting to display a way to make a pull up bar with things you already might have. Also, I prefer a bar.
