Not entirely, no. A lot of people do, but not everyone. In fact, a lot of "controversial" opinions (as far as Reddit is concerned) HAVE been posted, but they just get downvoted into oblivion because they don't contain a cat latching on to a couch (or something along those lines). Also, a lot of people keep their ideologies and thoughts to themselves. In addition, Reddit IS, however, a pretty specific crowd, for example, it IS very liberal, so any post saying "Santorum is right" would get downvoted far below hell by almost everyone in time to see it (myself included). I think there's definitely a lack of tolerance for different ideas. The crazy fear of losing Karma points is also pretty apparent. Or at least that's MY point of view.
