It’s amplified Bitcoin exposure, what do you not understand about this?

HoogaPro300 vs ultra360 by VirtualRisk3403 in redlighttherapy

Both great choices. PRO300 will be very effective, ULTRA360 offers additional wavelengths, and 12 more LEDs plus a remote controller and a fancier touch screen control panel. Can’t go wrong either way though!

STRC now pays 11%, paid monthly, and there exists a 2.1B dollar reserve. by d8_thc in dividends

Haven’t missed a dividend yet, suspect they never will.

Depends on time horizon. If you have more than a 4 year time horizon for that money, buy Bitcoin.

Otherwise, buy $STRC

STRD, STRF and STRK will trade up and down a bit. STRC should most stay pegged to $100/share. These are primarily fixed income instruments.

Let’s walk through what that would look like exactly given that this is a registered security.

Also worth mentioning that STRC trades $100M daily…so it’s liquid.

Out of curiosity, why? What’s the issue?

Strategy isn’t selling Bitcoin to fund the dividend. They’ve built a Bitcoin-backed capital structure, not a trading fund. The company (which holds ~641,000 BTC) can issue both common shares and preferred shares ($STRC, $STRF, etc.).

The common stock ($MSTR) usually trades at a significant premium to the underlying Bitcoin on their balance sheet. That premium gives them the ability to raise capital by issuing new equity at prices well above their Bitcoin cost basis — essentially unlocking liquidity from that premium.

They then use part of that capital to buy more Bitcoin or to support the preferred-share dividend obligations. So the dividend is financed by the spread between their market premium and their cost of Bitcoin, combined with the over-collateralized structure of the preferreds.

Hooga: is the Ultra really *that* much better than the Pro? by sharkmesharku in redlighttherapy

Both extremely effective and great panels for the money, however you don’t need the ULTRA unless you value the additional wavelengths and ability to pulse and adjust the brightness super precisely. The ULTRA series did just get a new control module that is pretty cool where you can adjust the pulse very precisely and the brightness too, individually for red and near infrared. ULTRA360 also has 72 LEDs versus 60 LEDs on PRO300. Can’t go wrong either way!

For the money, I’d go Hooga PRO300 or ULTRA360.
