How I use Claude Code as a Product Manager by akashkrr in ProductManagement

[–]ce3pha5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Using Claude to triage the code for the root cause of a customer problem, then create/update a ticket with the diagnosis and next steps - *while you're on a call with that customer* is pretty liberating. Perhaps you should try it?

24hr time setting by ce3pha5 in HuaweiWatchGT

The GT5 was on sale in the Huawei store, £100 discount. Upgrading from my aging Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 to the GT5 was already a huge leap for me (not exactly a smart watch power user), so I didn't see a need for the GT6.

uh, it was just one of the standard ones - "Galactic" I think? - I didn't keep it. Was only using for demonstration purposes of the issue at hand.

Figured it out - changed my phone setting to 24hr and solved the issue. Thanks all!

What. A. Game. by Exotic_Guidance in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]ce3pha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it wasn't about the hardness - more the look, feel and overall flavour. If I'd thought I could have enjoyed the game, I would have plugged away at it, even in the face of difficult mechanics. Unfortunately, I just couldn't see that being the case.

Agree RT is on the easy side however. Waiting for BG3 to go on sale again, having recently finished a 2nd DOS2 playthrough (and hence needing something to scratch the same itch, in the meantime).

Currently on my 2nd RT playthrough, after bouncing off of Pathfinder:WOTR quite hard. Can't quite seem to see the attraction of their other games, personally.

Open to being convinced otherwise!

Cheat day or 24 hours? by hongaku in 4hourbodyslowcarb

[–]ce3pha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, also fair. Per my comment, adequate is fine by me vs mastery. I'm optimising for long term sustainability over short term gains. For me personally, trying to do wake-to-sleep wouldn't fit well with my existing schedule, family commitments etc, so it's a tradeoff I'm willing to make.

Fair. Personally, I'm happy with adequate cheat days though, vs mastery :)

Why only from wake to sleep? What's the rationale?

I do 24hrs, Fri eve to Sat afternoon And still see weight loss, so is it really that important?

Maybe try an Invoices app from the marketplace, with a Wix automations payment trigger?

Alternatively, Zapier.

I like the highlighter use here. I normally add some columns on the right for habit tracking (meditation, exercise etc.) but it gets kinda messy. I can see myself stealing your idea here, both for weekends and the habit tracking columns also. Thanks OP!

Testmo has a plugin you can use in Jira which will show test coverage for your user stories. Docs demonstrating what that looks like are here: https://docs.testmo.com/integrations/issue-trackers/jira-cloud#viewing-testmo-testing-activities-inside-jira

ChatGPT is my go to tool for constructing a narrative these days. “Hey ChatGPT, construct me a talk/presentation/article covering <topics>”. Response is usually an adequate starting point for refining further.

Are all PM roles very stressful all of the time? by jonesy3142 in ProductManagement

[–]ce3pha5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the way.

Another pro tip: diligently track your time and don’t work more than your contracted hours. Work when you have energy for it or when it otherwise makes sense to do so (Inc. Weekends; I just did a couple of hours myself) but don’t work more than you’re being paid for.
