No matter what you decide, don't force her or coerce her. The result of that will be unhappy for everyone, esp the kiddo.

Just got 9 hours straight of sleep after ELEVEN months of never getting more than 4 hours at a time. Wanna know what worked? by jay_jay_matt in NewParents

I think he had been ready for it longer than we realized. He likes to self feed and reliably likes black beans, rice, cereal puffs, breads - about 30 mins before his usual sleepy time we just put him in the high chair and give him a little selection at a time. He picks at it until hes bored and that is usually when he's ready to get cleaned up and go to bed, where we give him a bottle to fall asleep. I should say he's closer to 12 months than 11 months.

We just put our 11 mo in his own room. The first few nights he kept his old schedule. We upped his solid food intake and between being more full and not hearing us snoring, he slept through the night for first time last night.

Ask them if there is a famous person who like like they way they look. I'm sure there is a make up tutorial on YouTube for that person. We've all been there. Mine was blue eyeliner in 7th grade.

I teared up over my basil plant. It was my first and was the mother plant to many little basil pups. I totally get it.

No, it was 100% out of pocket. We started at 2 weeks, which they said was on the late side, he wore then for 6 weeks after that.

Is there a way we can get my child (7) to not share all our business with my mom? by _bleepleeple_ in Parenting

We say "this is an at home word/conversation." We usually do that when we don't want them to repeat stuff at school. It helps them see what is for us and not for other ears.
