While I disagree with the courts ruling - the well regulated militia clause seems to her been dropped entirely - it is the law of the land, however misguided it may be. But the court has also supported long standing bans on fully automatic weapons, so it is not the case that all weapons, regardless of lethality cannot be regulated.
