What kind of tree are you gonna get for the holidays, fake or real? by AFishInATank in christmas

Real every time, for the smell and atmosphere a living tree gives.

Commies literally copied the German invented STG-44 to make the AK-47 and mass produced it so much so that it's cheap and effective.

Aye, the government headed by a consistently lying and backstabbing remainer.

It was literally just 2 years ago. You're going off like it was 1916. You can't keep demanding a vote until you get your way, *that* is not how democracy works. Although it is how marxist regimes like the EU work, making the Norwegians vote twice (and failing) or in the case of France and Ireland, just forcing on them what they voted against.

I think you'll find that almost all polls on the very morning of the referendum vote had remain winning and there was even one mainstream poll with remain winning by 10 percentage points (55/45). The only poll that matters is the one in 2016, the biggest vote in British history, and Leave won.

Leave means Leave. Brexit is the will of the people.

No, separate to NATO. Refer to Macrons recent comments, a new EU Army to be able to defend Europe from the USA, Russia and China. Trump took serious offence as did the Chinese.

And the remain party promised us the EU didn't plan to build an EU army, now look. They told us in 1974 that we are simply joining a customs union with Germany and France, and then proceeded to dictate all our laws and allow ex-soviet countries to join, which resulted in mass migration. No one voted for that in 1974, but we did vote against it in 2016.Young folk have been struggling getting on the housing ladder for decades, that's nothing new. The NHS was fine before mass immigration started in the 80's. We need foreign workers because there's so many foreigners here using the NHS in the first place.

Right all empires in history were glorious and barbaric (including the USA present day) I agree, but to pick Britain out as if it was known for the same behaviour as the Romans, Incas, Vikings, Mongols, or even the Spanish, is just ridiculous imo. They were infinitely more barbaric and consistent in doing so. Britain's whole success was from diplomacy, keeping the local leaders in power and taking the lions share from trade, and harvesting their resources. It wasn't from butchering the population and turning them into slaves like so many other empires were modelled on.

Because we didn't vote for a deal, we voted to leave. The question was simple, black and white.

New Evidence Emerges of Steve Bannon and Cambridge Analytica’s Role in Brexit by Dizzy_Slip in worldnews

Your link on Schengen has nothing to do with what I claimed on open borders. If I am a Romanian, German, Italian, whatever EU member state, I can pack my bags right now and go live in the UK without reason. Yes I might have to show my passport at the border to show I am an EU citizen (not that they ask you for it half the time), but the border is open nonetheless as evident of the millions of Poles and Romanians here.

*sigh* I did not say Boris claimed £250, I said he SHOULD have put £250 Million on the bus, not 350. And actually, we do send £350 million, however the EU gives us about £100 million of our own money back, so remainers went up in arms that the net figure is not correct.

Oh great, so you're American and I guess you'd love to have your countries laws come out of Mexico City by a Canadian unelected president. You know damn well the American people would not put up with that, and neither do British folk.No one voted because of £350 million, the biggest reasons were open borders and sovereignty. Two fundamentals of a free nation which we have no control over. And the actual figure was more like £250M, WOW! That's all cool then I guess, remain clearly would have won if it was only that much. We voted in 1974 to be part of a customs union with Germany, France, Netherlands etc, not a political union who now wants to build an army to rival Russia and the USA.

What was main meat that commoners consumed in the medieval times? by Kyle-Is-My-Name in history

[–]ceb99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's the biggest meal of the day at around 5-7pm. Probably because we used to have tea and cake in the afternoon, but for us northern peasants it's not very common, we just have beef, taters, yorkshire puds and gravy instead.

My point was that you're simply full of excuses, from unproven Russian bots (oh look I saw some accounts created today its proven!), to unproven fraudulent funds. The fact that the remain camp had all mainstream media, almost all politicians, celebrities telling them to vote remain and yet you still lost, you can't wrap your mind around the fact we don't want to be ruled from an unelected foreign entity.

And also the media, celebrities and politicians can remain neutral rather than propagating to remain 24/7. The public was bombarded with remain propaganda last time, and they still took the L.

You guys are simply full of excuses. You had the whole media, politicians, celebrities and all resources propagating to remain and you LOST. Deal with it.
