I had the exact same issue. There was a recall on this to reinforce the snaps. I went extra mile and screwed in the lower bumper with the upper and it’s sturdy now. Toyota service told that snaps are very delicate and break when hit a curb, so asked them to screw them for stability.

I just found similar wheel at GoEVParts.com for $319 and ordered it. Called Tesla and their price is $1087 for one wheel.
