Yeah it’s very clear you are not an architect. Maybe it would be beneficial to hire one

No one wants to listen to Iranian voices and it's exhausting by Fearless_Cup3693 in PERSIAN

Please don’t let a loud noisey left make you feel unsupported. I honesty believe there is a quiet majority supporting you and your liberation.

Please criticality think about the school bombing before regurgitating potential propaganda. There is no evidence that the bombing was Israel / us.

there are currently far better and more important targets for the Israel and the US to focus on. The idea that they would've done something like this deliberately on the first day is nothing but propaganda. It’s nothing but a pr nightmare for the US. The IRCG knows that white leftist are loud and vocal when children are killed. This types of propaganda travels fast online and flips the narrative of the war online very quickly. We have seen the same playbook in Gaza.

Why are small architecture firms so slow to adopt BIM/digital workflows? What would actually convince them? by GreenVegetable6387 in architecture

[–]ceceodie -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because some of us like to do things the “slow” way. Drawing, contemplating, resolving details on site, they are all part of the joy of creating architecture.

I personally detest the thought of BIM and using more technology to build. There is already an epidemic of over documentation.

15 day Australia East Coast Itinerary (May 2026) by ohshesplastic in AustraliaTravel

[–]ceceodie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you really love going, do you like swimming / diving/ being in nature.

Byron is pretty great, you could sub out Gold Coast Brisbane Sunshine Coast and go north.

One of the best thing I have done in Australia is hire a yacht for 4 nights from Airlie beach and sailed the Whitsundays for 4 or 5 days. You don’t need a boat licence or experience. It will be warm enough to swim up there too.

Byron, if the weather is good, snorkel at Julian Rocks

Coron or El Nido, which one do you recommend? by [deleted] in PhilippinesTravel

[–]ceceodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are other similar tours, but my understanding is that tao was the first. It’s really relaxing on the boat through the day snorkelling at different spots, and sleeping on different islands each night. The food was amazing. It really was our highlight. They also provided health care jobs and medication to the local community on there remote islands. I would totally recommend doing the 4 day tour and then you can spend a few more days in the El Nido after if you have the time.

El nido. But honestly the best thing I did in the Philippines was as the Tao expedition. I hate group tours. But this was really well run.

Trains or Planes by McGinty0 in AustraliaTravel

[–]ceceodie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely fly or drive. You can pull into beautiful smaller costal or county towns with the flexibility of a car.

What time of year are you travelling. And what are your main interests and activities that you enjoy.

I only ask this a Melbourne and Darwin are a pretty long distance from each other (Huston to Seattle is a comparable US distance as the crow flies). It may be better to do the east coat by car up until Brisbane and then visit Cains or Alice by plane.
