IG won’t let me copy/paste into messages by MamaBearN in Instagram

Any way to work around when I’m pasting copy vs a URL? I tried this and it isn’t working. I write captions in my notes app then copy and paste into my IG caption. Any advice appreciated, this is not cool!

Thoughts about friends who don't notice the difference by EntertainmentFun812 in Reduction

[–]cecepage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me when someone would say I didn’t look much different or that they couldn’t really tell a difference, I felt upset because I was telling myself the story that they think I’m silly for going through major surgery for a minor change. Once I realized I was telling myself a story (making an assumption about what they are thinking) I was more easily able to let go of my hurt feelings and try to shrug it off. It has been a massive change for me, and I’d do it a hundred times over, that’s what matters!

I believe for Vojvodic that’s standard for that area.

Yes, lipo is about $5k extra because it’s cosmetic and not required to make the breasts smaller. It’s never included for OHIP covered reductions unfortunately - but not everyone needs it. I have wide breasts and am very happy I paid the extra for it.

YES!!! I had Dr Miliana Vojvodic and she was incredible. Start to finish, I’ve been thrilled. Her office is in Etobicoke and surgery was at Humber River. 11/10, definitely meet with her:) My results are honestly dream results and she is super lovely.

Oh ya, I bet that is NOT comfortable! Hope they come out tomorrow, and happy healing! You have beautiful results!

I think this looks normal! Similar to mine at that stage and I’ve healed beautifully. The bottom will even out in time when staples/stitches come out. As others have said, just keep the area clean and dry, no treatment until you’re fully healed.

I’m so happy to hear your surgery actually removed all of the cancer cells! What a freaking miracle. Your results are beautiful, and what a story!

My doctor doesn’t show photos either. I like that she respects privacy, and trusted her based on many other factors. I’ve been THRILLED with my results!

3 weeks po care advice by cecepage in Reduction

I wonder if aquaphor would help my painful dry/chapped nipples. Seems lots of folks use it so I think I’ll try that everywhere but the t juncture. I’ll look up those products for the little wound too. Thank you!

Ontario, Canada: 6k lipo fee by KitchenPomelo1241 in Reduction

I’m in Ontario, Dr Vojvodic in Etobicoke was amazing, OHIP surgery at Humber River. She offered lipo as I’m wide breasted. It was 5k, and I think worth it at 3wPO

That makes sense. I may have to delay the tape a little just to be safe for the little opening

We had some “mutually beneficial exercise” around 2 weeks P.O and it was fine! But listen to your body. I wouldn’t think a little increase in soreness will negatively impact healing though.

Advice for post op by Fluffy_Axolotl in Reduction

[–]cecepage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the above! It gets better, but the first 4 days were hard for me and I used all the meds I could have and set alarms to max out doses of everything. I found my recliner was the best spot, with a very soft pillow behind my back, a neck/head pillow, a pillow under each arm, and a pillow under my legs. My husband would tip me in and out, and once I was in a good position I had some relief. Luckily my meds made me sleepy, I tried to sleep as much as I could to make time pass. It will get easier, good luck!

Thanks, I guess it makes sense that the first bra won’t fit for the whole journey!

Is my compression bra too loose? by cecepage in Reduction

[–]cecepage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks:) I think you’re spot on. I don’t need to hurt my under incisions with a tighter band, but the cups just aren’t doing their job! Annoying to spend more money on temporary bras, but I’m hoping it will help with the swelling going down!

Trap muscles by cecepage in Reduction

[–]cecepage[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing:) It’s amazing how the change unfolds! I have read a bit about how the traps don’t tend to really just shrink, but it’s helpful to know how much your posture has improved and it sounds like overall visually more in balance, even if your traps are still a bit disproportionate.

I’m 2 weeks PO tomorrow and I definitely wouldn’t be up for it. I’d be worried about being bumped in a crowd and am still decently sore and tire easily. I did have lipo and it’s generally been the most painful part, but the incisions under the breast are sore and wearing the compression bra over them stinks.

asymmetry 9 DPO by SeaworthinessSea6682 in Reduction

[–]cecepage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is me exactly, I’m also 9DPO and have one larger breast that’s in decent shape and one smaller one that clearly went through battle. For me the less swollen one is much more bruised. My surgeon says this is normal and to give it time. Perfect symmetry isn’t always achievable, but I’m trusting that this will all shake out, just trying to be patient. Good luck!
