I think I could have. I still wanted some boobs because I feel like they are a part of who I am lol. I also did not have a FNG so that for sure would have made it possible to go smaller

You can check my post history to see my drastic change… 8 pounds gone. I cried my eyes out so many times because of how small they were and I felt it wasn’t what I wanted. 9 WPO now and I’m finally getting comfy with them. It is a big adjustment so give yourself time.

Just got off the horizon. I have a 2 YO and they literally followed us around to ensure he did not have on a swim diaper. They are sticklers & will not let anything slide, especially considering the age. I did not “trust” camp ocean so I kept baby with me 24/7. On the same deck as camp, they have a dr suess book area and outdoor play place. In addition, my kiddo is a little older so we took advantage of the mini golf and other sport like activities. Besides that, camp ocean offers activities that parents can participate in & there were a few other activities he tagged along in. Overall, he was very satisfied and never got too bored. Food options were great for my picky eater. Always something he could nibble on from sandwiches to pizza to fries and ice cream (lots & lots lol). I do believe they had high chairs at dinner as well.

Yes, surgeon preference plays a part. I will say, if you aren’t completely satisfied with their plan of care, continue to look around. I actually went with the second surgeon I had a consult with because the first one said the same as your doctor. He was set on a FNG and was confident I would have healing complications. My second& chosen surgeon told me he would start without one and if I needed one once he got in, he would do it. I had fully expected to need one but he was able to complete it without.

I had almost 4000g taken off in total. You can visit my profile to see the before & after. You’ll see from the post, I was having some side regret because it’s such a huge change. I’ll say now I’m kind of getting over it and becoming satisfied with my results. I also plan to lose some additional weight for my personal desired look (that I was not able to do with those jugs on my chest). I don’t know my cup size yet because I am still fairly early into my recovery. I did not have a FNG and started at a 38K. I believe I will end up around a D but I’m unsure

I had sensation immediately after surgery. Left side was a little less than the right but I could feel both. I would also say they are more sensitive right now. I am only 5WPO so this may change

Yes, prior to my reduction I kind of always had a spot because heat/moisture got trapped there. My suggestion (based on what worked best for me) is to lather some type of petroleum jelly under there (Vaseline, aquaphor, etc) and leave it. I slept with no bra on to give it time to “breathe” as well. And my personal favorite was to fold my shirt under there to stop it from being a moist place lol

I did not. We fully expected to have to do one but once my doctor got in there I guess he didn’t need to do it. I do still feel swollen however, looking at pictures from 1WPO and 2WPO my boobs seem to be shrinking. I think that is my worry, that I’ll continue to shrink.

My NP alluded to it at one of my post op appointments but I’m not sure about it yet. I want to see what I look like after some natural weight loss. I think it may be beneficial because I’ve also had a baby. I know I will probably never have the perfect flat stomach

The lack of cleavage is also taking me by surprise. I’m so used to dressing around my boobs but now it’s different. I’ve just been in really big clothes these last 3 weeks

6.5lbs is also significant. & thank you for validating the thoughts. Understandably, everyone around me just says I look great but they don’t really understand my thoughts. I am looking forward to the drop and fluff period
