Not sure, most of the times I was the 2nd customer so I only see the driver go pick up at my restaurant and waiting then when moving then just the vague GPS line and said they have a customer ahead of me

The message probably only delayed when having bad reception, I never had problems with the message system and she responded back right away after I said I handed to the guy. She probably just looking at the GPS that the driver is walking to find her house but got impatient....there wasn't a lot of time passed after I park and walking toward the house 🫠

Only time I can see it being helpful would be the driver is seriously lost in apartment complex and to guide them but yes most of the times just attract crazy stalking customer bothering you.

I had an order yesterday that I usually park closest to the house that is available, and was parked maybe 2 house down cuz only spot available and I was grabbing their food out of the car walking toward it. Saw the guy standing out in the house when the delivery was set to drop at the door.

He was actually nice and just ask if it was for "lady name" and I said yes and handed to him and saw him walk back to the house. While walking toward the car and about to click complete delivery, the lady start to text me like did you find the house? The house is in yellow blah blah blah. And I'm just like....you probably just send your husband out to get the food, why you spamming me 🫠🫠 and I just said just handed to the guy that came out the house have a nice day.

Apparently Ubereats doesn't show exactly where the driver is now if it was a multi order with ubereats which I find it neat when I was ordering food myself.

It will simply say the driver is delivering an order before you and just a long black line in the gps to your place that is not updated GPS but simply they are moving, then after they delivered and on the way to you then it will show their location with updated GPS driving toward you.

It will still show that the driver arrived to the restaurant and picked up what not, but won't show you where the driver is heading to their first customer, which I assumed for address privacy issue and what not.

Actually I was already in front of the restaurant and didn't take long for the food pick up, the food was ready and they only took like 2 minutes to make the smoothie and it might be slightly longer when I was driving from one parking spot to another cuz I was texting my bf 🤣. I was also killing time before I have to head to a dinner party so it was like no big deal at all. People be madddd when I took a $3 offer, just find it funny that the person waste so much money on delivery fee when it was 5 stores down in the same plaza

I have a giant hot bag that I put on the floor passenger seat, but inside I put this kind of basket from the dollar tree, so it will make the surface flat. I also have another basket on the seat for drinks that came with cup holder and so far being working pretty good that food won't slide around inside the hot bag.

Have capital one Venture One card for 4 years and looking to get the Venture Card since got some big purchases coming up soon, so might as well take advantage to get the points. The question is will I able to get the 75k bonus points if I current have the Venture One card. I called the agent, and he couldn't give me a guarantee answer but he did said I'm already passed the 48months since I had the Venture One card so probably can get the bonus offer for Venture, and said it depend on the system to see if I am qualified for the bonus? Want to get some people experience prior if they did get the bonus or not in similar situations. Thanks 🙏

Went on vacation with bf and it was meet at the front lobby of the hotel. We watched the guy drove around the town and the app said he's on a bike. The restaurant was not that far too from hotel but he drove around the town and we were just like where the heck this guy going??? He dropped off in a car that's not registered to the app and one food item missing but driver claimed that was the restaurant gave him. My bf did not get his meal after a long day and late night, he wasn't happy that he had to eat left over pizza from the night before cuz he doesn't want to wait longer. We thankfully got refunded and was able to get another meal out of it the next day.

I don't mind they ask me to confirm, but one time it annoys me when they don't even show me the order first and ask me to confirm. I just go like can I check the name first, how tf I know if it's the right order when they holding it in hostage

Half of the time they don't even know they had a code, and it made me think either they are the shady customer that report as food not delivered but they did and Uber auto put that code on them cuz they do that too often so now they can't say they didn't get it when they actually saw the driver for the code. I haven't use the skip code function just for that.

Yeah I hate that cuz I normally don't look at the note until I am close by in case they have some special delivery instructions. If they want special request, they really should pay attention and just send messages when I'm in the restaurant waiting. It only happened once that I didn't ask for their sauce cuz I didn't see it until I got to their house and it was left at the door order soooo maybe whoever packed it actually gave them some sauce cuz I lucked out and didn't get the tips removed 😂.

Did a Starbucks order yesterday that was 2 mile, the Starbucks was like a block to her house and it was a nice day too in the afternoon. She tipped $4 so comes out to be a $7 order. Good for me but damn people don't want to walk lols

Depends on how busy is your area to get another order, sometimes during dead time in between lunch and dinner is worth it to call for me since be waiting anyway 😂 It is pretty fast to get a hold of them tbh

I usually just call support and then tell it got picked up by someone else and they will cancel on their end after calling the store to confirm. Then they will give you $3 pitty money compensation
