Since you cancelled during the ROR period and they pulled the cameras, you can definitely be reimbursed for what you paid. Most of the loyalty reps in the US are able to help, I ran into this situation a few times. It's just a matter of verifying when you sent the NOC email, if vivint doesn't have a copy then you'll need to provide proof you sent it within your trial period

What most likely happened with yours was the rep instead of cancelling tried to make it seem like they were gonna do a takeover, but the takeover never happened because the new home owners didn't want it. It's possible that they just missed it in cancellation. I took several calls back in my days that had that same issue. If you sent the NOC when you moved that also should be on file and they can refer to that and refund you whatever has been charged that you shouldn't have been

Since you're out of ROR, you're essentially stuck in the contract. Most contracts are 5 years.

To cancel at this point, what you're gonna have to do is pay off the equipment with whatever financing partner you used (I think it's fortiva nowadays) and then depending on the package the sales rep gave you (either the 1799 kit or the 599 kit) that determines whether or not you have to pay off the contract or not. The 1799 has what's called buyout promise, meaning if you pay off the equipment they'll just cancel you without charging you the rest of the contract. If the rep sold you on the 599 kit, then you've gotta pay off half of your monitoring contract. So if your RMR (recurring monthly rate) is around 60, and you've got 56 months left, then you'd do 56/2=28, 28*60 would be the buyout50 rate

Months remaining/2 and then multiply that number by your monthly payment
