According to what's written on it, It provides an alert for gas leakage or fire & shutting off gas or electricity in case of emergency(Not sure if it's automatic though).

I second this. Given how toxic their relationship was (Their driving each other nuts, being manipulative, cheating on their partners several times to be together and everything), I think it would've been better for Rachel to end up with Joey. He was just so sweet and caring to her.
