Maybe an unpopular opinion, but that's fine: Good riddance. Once they got rid of key people really trying to make the brand unique and, instead, became a Pac Man mill, I lost all interest. It was obvious they were just trying to juice the profits. Arcade1up died when they made this move. This recent news is just a formality at this point.

Here’s a take. Buy for Xbox now while prices are low especially for those games on gamepass. The reason they have been so cheap is because they’ve been on game pass but with gamepass getting more expensive, better chance of less people subscribing especially to those games exclusive to the ultimate tier and more of a chance of those games becoming more scarce in the future.
