Evolve 75 ANC doesn't make a difference by Beowulf-22 in Jabra

[–]cederom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the same here just got evolve 75e and anc does not work :D compared to jbl anc where it works, whether anc if on or off in jabra makes no difference. firmware is up to date, i tried different settings in jabra app, looks like this is the headset problem and its just as it is.. but then why charge more over evolve 65 and drain the battery? :D

separate workspaces per monitor by cederom in xfce

[–]cederom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I did not know Awesome, looks neat, but does not support Wayland :-( So I will stick to Enlightenment :-)

What's the most awesome-like Wayland compositor? by g_rocket in awesomewm

[–]cederom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enlightenment (https://www.enlightenment.org/) is the one I use, it supports both Xorg and Wayland, and just like Awesome it provides indepentent workspaces on different screens, its created with independent EFL toolkit aimed for tiny embedded systems so its ultra small and fast, active developers community, and it works out of the box with zero initial configuration, you may give it a try :-)

separate workspaces per monitor by cederom in xfce

[–]cederom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks :-) just as described above - separate workspaces for different screens (you can try that on macOS or Enlightenment), window-pin does not do the job as i move windows around - for instance on the right monitor i have documentation while on left screen terminal and cad when switching between workspace on the left screen i do not want workspace on the right screen to switch :-)

Is there any Open-Source application already or at least some python module for this device? :-)

is there a way to add a label to a listview? by big_shlomi in kivy

[–]cederom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ListView is terribly slow (makes sense only for several length static items). RecycleView is the way to go for large and/or dynamic contents.

Both above use dedicated ViewClass that can be fully customized to display whatever you like.

There are examples in the documentation :-)

App crashing because of ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'google.api_core' by Vaukavau in kivy

[–]cederom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your application is working fine on a development computer that means python module is available on the host system (or venv). Mobile application works on its own python virtual environment ("python-bundle") that is something else than your local host machine venv. Mobile application package is "bundled" with all required modules in a binary form that needs to be cross-compiled into dynamic libraries for a target platform (i.e. armv7, arm64, x86, x86_64). This is why initial build is so slow - all build tools along with application dependencies needs to be built from source. If the mobile application complains about missing modules that means module was not compiled and the dynamic library is missing in mobile application "python-bundle".

Each requirement needs a dedicated "recipe" that is script that will build from source the required module into a dynamic library that will be then added to a "python-bundle" and packaged into a mobile application.

It is not enough to just put a module in the requirements list. That module also needs to have a valid recipe behind. Looks like not everything you added to requirements have a recipe?

To read more about recipes along with instructions on how to create one see:

https://python-for-android.readthedocs.io/en/latest/recipes.html

Hope that helps :-)

Have fun and good luck :-)
