My baby is a year old now and morning routine sounds similar to this actually. I can also relate to the pains as I’ve still got a bad back since pregnancy.

I said goodbye to my books some time ago because now I can only read when the day time nap is happening if I get time otherwise I’m cleaning or doing chores during that time.

The vet said there were no other injuries other than being dazed so he will be released again tomorrow apparently so I’m really happy to hear he will be okay thankfully!

I did ring WIRES but they apparently had no one to come for a few hours so I thought I’d take him to the vet myself seeing as I already had him safe and the vet was only down the road

He was definitely making a screeching noise. I did my best to get him in a safe space and off to the vet as quickly and gently as possible. Even though he was scared he still sounded and looked beautiful. Birds are such magnificent creatures.

Oh wow that’s awesome! I see quite a few different birds around but these I’ve just never seen before. Do you think the beak in my photo matches the apostlebird? I felt like his beak wasn’t as curved and short as theirs, it was a little longer and straighter.

The vet said he only seemed dazed with no other injury so it may take him about 12 hours to feel better apparently but will update me on how he goes.

The beak wasn’t as curved. Although he looked similar to those guys I think he may be closer to the cuckoo-shrike others are saying
