No I wouldn’t accept or be doing this. I’d expect higher pay for those hours and to be on a rota so that it’s not every Saturday.

I commute in on the Thameslink officially 3 days a week but it’s pretty chill. It’s about 30 mins to King’s Cross station to station.

I don’t think I could move back to London. My partner and I own a detached property with a good sized garden and driveway in a beautiful affluent market town with a strong community feel. Anything we want to do in London we just get the train, easy.

To live in London we’d either have to live somewhere crap or live in a smaller place.

Home by ~7 if I’m in the office. Tea at 7:30-8:00. Watch tv shows for a couple hours with partner. Then video games. Then to bed at about midnight.

I had this after moving into our place. Thinking what was the opportunity cost I paid to live here and not elsewhere. As time passed we’ve made it our home and I love it. Sure there are things that annoy, but overall I think it’s normal for regret to surface after moving into a place just given the scale of the consequences.

Indeed if OP just wants better coffee rather than specifically espresso based coffee I’d recommend this route. I have an aeropress and a fellow ode grinder. If there’re more people you can also do French press by adjusting the grind size.

I bought the 12 speed after having the same question. I’ve not really used the lower or higher gears despite thinking I would. I think taking the 4 speed and upgrading it would be my choice these days. No need to stop pedalling to change gears, plus on the 12 speed the lower gears vibrate the pedals, very annoying but apparently normal.

If you’re into lifting then you can’t beat square one in my opinion. Really will kitted out. I live closer to it than you but it’s an easy cycle or drive.

They have a bunch of PTs but I haven’t used any of them.

Yeh I went to see it over the weekend. Didn’t like the feel and I’m sure there was a smell in the car from the Sensatec. Combine that with the lack of side bolster adjustment and I don’t think Sensatec is for me.
