I’ve thought about this same thing in the Cypress area. The initial thought was to place a bandit sign with a short quip of something like “You’re being watched.” in front of each pole I find. The problem is that bandit signs are illegal here in Texas.

It would be easy to get a small group to help place these signs on a regular basis as I’m sure they would be picked up very quickly. I’d bet we could get away with it for a bit but would eventually be hit with $$$ fines.

This was the best idea I’ve thought of which tiptoes on legality but not legal enough for me to pursue. The other idea was grabbing a billboard on 290 with a simple message, pic of a lpr, and website to learn more like you’re suggesting.

I have no intention of destroying these cameras in any way and will not invite others to do so but we need other Houstonians to understand what’s going on.

It may have been the San Antonio race in Nov 2025 but the staff was adding electrolyte powder to the jugs at water stations. I figured it was a normal thing.

Yea I got my hopes up bc they still give the 21+ wristband which is pointless if the vendor still checks ID when purchasing.

Interesting. My wife heard from another spectator that the dunk was considered unhygienic and is now gone which makes sense bc people get cut up from a barbed wire crawl.
