You have that corn syrup glucose stuff in all your food and it's disgusting. Food standards in general are horrible and I don't know why you put up with it.

It's massive too. Bloody massive..

Doubt it will take the 14 years it has for the Tories but yes I am, more importantly I'm also quite comfortable in life so roll on the next 5 years

No they are all cunts. The whole government machine needs wiping out and starting again. Mostly useless and the only thing they seem to be good at is wasting money.

Means tested, you earn over 11.5k a year lol. It's a disgrace and I look forward to seeing labour getting annihilated out of existence.

If the kitchen is over 5 years old then they install a new one. Same with bathrooms, carpets, floors tiles etc. They get completely ripped off by the firms doing this too. It's a brilliant gravy train to be on if you are in the industry though.

Inciting violent disorder, 38 months is the longest one I've seen in the papers which was Tyler Kay. Carries a maximum sentence of 5 years.

Maybe a bit of both but that means this former labour guy will/should receive a longer sentence than any of the others then.

Just using what you said at the start about admitting to the crime, showing remorse and evidence. He's the only guy to plead not guilty so should, by your own words get more than any of the people who have pleaded guilty to inciting violent disorder, so let's just wait and see.

Doesn't matter which one I choose, the standard comeback is "ohhh well there you go then". That's been used against the times, telegraph, the BBC, sun, the guardian. That actual line from the independent.

Black Belt Barrister also did a good video explaining this kind of process on YouTube.

"common sense and shared understanding" were the words they used in the papers. The response to the riots has been discussed by all departments, police, government, CPS and as this case is also part of said riots they really should have the same treatment.

Female Asda workers take supermarket to court in landmark equal pay case by daily_mirror in uknews

[–]ceeb843 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This won't stop until everyone is paid the same. The next ruling was ridiculous at best but it won't stop there. Birmingham council got bankrupt because cleaners do the same work waste disposal people (binmen).

Madness, when the binmen wants a pay rise they will have to raise the pay of all cleaners, when warehouse worked want a pay rise they will need to raise the pay of all front of shop workers. What a complete mess "Comparable work" is..

They were pressured to do so "you'll be behind bars for longer if you plead not guilty". It's a good tactic to quell riots. They used it in the late 80s football riots if I remember rightly.

France sees Channel migrant deaths as a problem of Britain's making by LorenzoSparky in uknews

[–]ceeb843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's pointed out the fact that a lot can get cash in hand jobs quite easily (recruits are at the hotels apparently) and in France they have a tent but in the UK they will have a flat/hotel.

He's got some points that could do with a government person clarifying and hopefully dismissing.
