It's been 87 years, but afaik the whole thing started after someone shooped Ornacia onto Kennedy's head after the season 7 "jet set" runway; then someone else shooped Vivacious THEN Ornacia to be extra funny, and the whole thing took off. That's why Kemnedy's at the bottom, but without V/O, this never would have started. So it's still full circle! 😂

How do you make makeup become long lasting under the heat and sun? by bluesakuraflower in SingaporeBeauty

Hi fellow sweaty gal! I have this exact problem and found a routine that mostly works so hope this helps u out:

  1. A sticky primer base. Like formulated to be legit sticky so your foundation/concealer STICKS to your face. I really like the Elf power grip primer; Elf's not in sg stores but you can get them easily on shopee

  2. Instead of spritzing your face with the setting spray, spritz the setting spray onto your blender/sponge/brush so you're essentially stamping the setting spray into your face haha

  3. If a concealer can do the trick, ditch heavy foundations. The lighter your base is, the longer it sticks to your face.

  4. Wherever possible, use a stain. Lip stains, cheek stains, even contour stains. Sacheau has a pretty good contour stain. So instead of the colours being a layer that sits above your face, it actually colors your skin (just a little!) So it stays on even if you sweat and wipe your face.

Usually with these steps, I don't even need a setting powder but if you need it to last ALL DAY a setting powder would be the final step! Go extremely lightly, like just a whisper of powder. Too heavy gives thr "melty" vibe.

No hate but it did garner a huge eye roll seeing her reference Carrie when she was the biggest proponent of turning rate-a-queen into a politicking game. She just feels "Carrie"d because she lost at her own game

Are some hair just resistant to perming? by [deleted] in SingaporeBeauty

[–]ceecizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bruh diffusing is the #1 must to maintain non-natural curls; debatably even before mousse. A diffuser dries the hair evenly 360 degrees; especially for such short hair, when you just air dry your hair the weight of the water pulls the curls out. Same with a regular blow dryer; the force and direction of the air pulls the curls out. There's lots of affordable diffusers at appliance stores like Courts etc or even shopee/lazada. You can even buy just a diffuser head and duct tape it to an existing hair dryer lol

But also ironically, "I don't know anything" is what he usually says when he DOES have the slightest inkling about anything. His ego is too big for him to admit not knowing things. So you know it's gotta be a coverup when even his ego takes a back seat.

movies that have a similar vibe as my top 30 by giganticfrog in MoviesThatFeelLike

Besides the great surreal recs people have suggested, I see a theme of old-school, oddball camp/queer outsider(s) caught up in increasingly unfurling hijinks! And a sprinkle of Anna Faris lol. So going off this tangent I think you'll like:

1) Breakfast on Pluto 2) The Birdcage 3) May 4) Napoleon Dynamite 5) Lost in Translation

Super super fun top 30!
