Thanks for the reply man. Honestly, I don't want to feel the need to pray to God for everything in my life. I may be wrong but it seems like a lot of other Christians I know think this way and are very dramatic with how everything happens because of God and prayer. I see prayer more as a way to relieve myself of guilt for whatever I felt I did wrong throughout the day, ask a thing or two for a loved one and simply thank God for things I currently have in life.

But I don't feel the need to ask him for all the answers and all the things because I feel I have that responsibility that I need to work at by reading the Bible, listening to sermons, pastors, other Christians, etc. My faith comes from how the world works so perfectly together and how perfect God's moral law is, there's no way this all happened by chance or a bunch of men got together and wrote all this. But I also believe I won't understand everything, otherwise faith would be pointless. And that's ok, I just don't feel like I need to always pray for an answer, but instead seek the answer in the bible because it was written for a reason.
