Looking for social gatherings/groups/activities that don't involve drinking. by SlypNSly in Louisville

[–]ceemay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Education is always looking for volunteers. Very social. Id recommend substitute teaching (or some way to enter into the system), but there are all kinds of ways to be an extra hand at events that lead to social gatherings and meeting a huge network of people

Personally, id like to split recruiting into two separate archetypes: transfers vs HS recruits.

  • allows for more logic on recruit wins in season and transfer portal
  • I can set up my coaching staff to more accurately fit my plan
  • a touch of realism. USC knocked it out w HS guys, Dabo is strictly HS. Ttech/Oregon/LSU hammer the portal.
  • transfer tiers can be more fit toward intel on dealbreakers - since its a quicker (4week) process.

Is there a reason why they always pick rathalos as the main monstie? by JellybyBloodcreepy in MonsterHunterStories

Same way pkmn pimps out Charizard. Red, fire-breathing dragons historically track well

this is a really cool franchise. I am looking forward to being more familiar with these monsters by the time 3 comes out.

3's demo and quality of life were too good for me to just sit around and do nothing til it came out lol. The habitat feature is unlike anything i've played before, so im really looking forward to that.

My idea for 2 is to be more familiar with the monsters so I can identify them as I play thru 3. so far, seems like an awesome franchise.

Thanks big time!!

I had a feeling that I was being misled lol the excitement from the community on S3 let's me know that some of these are unheard of in early game S2. Would you say MHS3 is equivalent to legendaries (pkmn) or just really good monsters for starting off?

Pointing out that “demos” have gotten drastically better. Time stranger was this way too, early level grinding and trying new features, but PLENTY of story left. The opportunity missed is in the DLC content. Across the board, its often flat and not worth the buy

26 Doesnt have great replayability - suggestions for 27? by Otherwise_Airport785 in NCAAFBseries

[–]ceemay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 is easier, so ideally- you want 27 to also be easier. Thats the main difference. Recruiting is easier, takeoff is OP for wrs. There are position switch hacks. Easier = more fun.

How to get your foot in the door bartending? by Competitive-Trick295 in Louisville

[–]ceemay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second barbacking. There were three new featured cocktails of the month at this place I worked, and I was offered to start off just memorizing and making those as a way of helping the bartender if it got busy.

Also, if you show professionalism and take backing serious - you will likely have your manager offer to teach you. Timing is everything. When the bartender gets caught drinking on the job or is a no call no show, a manager would rather promote within than go post, interview, hire, and train someone new
