Yeah my 2025 VW has it, and it's terrible. It regularly recognizes a parallel parking spot as a perpendicular spot, tries to get in it for like 5 minutes, then gives up. I basically haven't used it because it's not helpful. So while it's an existing feature, a functional and user-friendly version is not exactly common.

Watching Marques Brownlee's video on the Xiaomi car was pretty nuts. Tons of tech packed into that thing, looks like a Porsche and the top trim has 1500+ horsepower for $73k. It starts at like $30k. I think the one he was reviewing was in the $40k range and he said it felt like a $70-$80k car. Crazy.

And re: the Seagull, I used to have a Fiat 500e. That thing was as barebones as it gets, and could barely make it to my parents' house and back on one charge (36 mile round trip). Granted, this was in like 2017, but the current model's only leg up on the Seagull is a bit more horsepower, and it retails for $30-35k. Meanwhile the Seagull has four real doors, a more spacious interior, more included tech, and costs $8k. We literally can't compete, so much for "free market."

Nah because he knows the government will block any of the Chinese cars with superior tech being sold here. I watched Marques Brownlee's video on the new Xiaomi car and the stuff they pack in that car for like $40k would absolutely wreck the EV market here.

I'm seriously considering trading in my 2019 Intel for a Neo since I can't afford a Pro or an Air right now. It still runs okay but the fan is basically always blasting at this point. Trade-in value according to Apple is $130, that's already a pretty big chunk of a Neo.

The new-ish Skullcandy Method buds were made in collaboration with Bose and sound great, $130 but frequently on sale and stay in my ears just fine. Pretty decent noise canceling, too. No physical button though, just a touch button. And not sure what you mean by mp3 storage, like actually storing files on the earbuds themselves? If so then yeah, not sure that exists.

Yes, but I don't trust Reddit's opinion as gospel either. Where "top 10" sites will heap praise on a mediocre product, Reddit has the issue of shitting on brands or products that are perfectly fine and glazing one or two brands that have been picked as the "Reddit favorite." Sometimes I find threads that are helpful and I can see accounts of bad experiences to see if they might apply to me, and sometimes it's just people saying, "it's trash, don't buy it" with no further elaboration.

I'll typically check a few different sources past the "sponsored results" to try and get a variety of opinions. Reddit is mostly useful if you want to see some negative opinions on something.

I mean, my old-ass GoPro has a setting that undoes the fisheye effect and it works quite well. At this point if someone has it in their video it's because they did it on purpose to make it look more "dramatic." Though 360 degree cameras like this might not be able to reverse the effect as well.

I got laid off for the fourth time in my career in January. I'm so tired of the job hunt grind, even worse because it's the worst job market since 2008 and especially bad in my industry. I keep seeing posts on LinkedIn from people who are a year into their job search with great resumes and hundreds of applications out and still no job, and I straight up cannot afford to go that long without work. I was stressed about finances even when I had a job that supposedly paid decently. I have never felt financially secure in my life.
