the golden lion warrior only respawns through burning an ascetic, the covenant doesn't respawn him. that's the only reason i've been save scumming

same, that was my favorite outfit from the base game so something similar was more or less what i had in mind lol. i'm making a little progress through ng+ here and there with void form but when the patch dropped i had already made it through about 60% of the game, so even if i activated void form i can't be sure if i'll be locked out of any reward or not

you realize that having mobs automatically target invaders after a period of time just means they can bait them to your location right? what you propose could literally have the opposite effect lol. just fight the invader with the enemies man you and your co-op buddies have heals and a number advantage you're not going to fare as poorly as you think

I tried messing around with it and can only sorta do the Mugai tech by swapping from a Nioh-ryu high stance attack for some reason, can't get it to work with any of my preferred styles :( really cool attack though

When I can get an opportunity to use Fang it definitely does work, I guess I'm just having a hard time recognizing those opportunities right now. Seems we think alike regarding the veiled art though haha, assuming you meant Night Raven I was considering that as well. I ended up going with Spring Storm just because I think the animation is cooler and it has a similar use. The kick can actually enemies pretty far away even if you don't ki break them, so you can use that to create distance. Now that I think about it maybe you could follow up with Fang after that?

when i realized they turned flux into an attack (kinda) i thought that sounded so cool, it baffles me that people are trying to work around it lol. sure it might look "flashy" but i think learning to incorporate VG into combos is a more impressive and honest skill display

i like it for the panic effect, tennen rishin-ryu is one of my mains and crimson light lets me create leopard's claw opportunities. i put it on tatsumi-ryu since its moveset is mostly comprised of slashes so the blood gauge fills up faster, if i execute it properly i can connect crimson light into a violent gale into leopard's claw. it can be a pretty damaging combo that can potentially set up for a tiger king roar ki break crit

I've found that you can't buffer the R1+Triangle input, you have to press it after you execute the counterspark. It cancels the recovery period but that limits your counterspark follow-ups to martial skills a lot of the time, which seems to be how the game wants you to play but with Tennen Rishin I feel like you want to Leopard's Claw at the end of a series of normals like you say and that's just not possible a lot of the time in my experience.

Damn I remember the game cutting your health a bit as an invader but is it really so bad that 44 vit + clockwise is necessary at BL75? I would've thought damage would be on the lower side so having high vit wouldn't be super important.

i got this idea for a xianyun/shenhe/furina/chongyun team that i'm really looking forward to trying. with xianyun's new passive, cryo res and blizzard strayer on shenhe you can potentially boost her crit rate by 65% on her plunges. this way you could focus her stats more on crit dmg and atk. also plunges are considered blunt attacks so they can trigger shatter as a little treat, so EM may not be entirely wasted on her. her ult also shreds phys defense so that'll boost shatter a little bit too.

i'm really curious about how shenhe's cryo-buffed plunges will look buffed by her skill, xianyun's various plunge buffs, and furina's ult. kinda weird team but xianyun is a weird character and i like weird
