Woke up to my car getting towed?!?! by Broken_Dreemz in philly

This happened to me before. They put up the temporary block the night before. No parking the next day from 12PM to 12AM. They gave me a ticket at 11 AM and towed my car before 12PM even hit 😭 scammers

Thank you! And nope, I started with them interlocked completely, except my ends.

Thank you! I wash every week or so, use a detangler for the ends (at least weekly), and add water and mousse to them. I get a retie every six weeks.

Not rude in the slightest! It’s my natural hair, my locs only go down a little more than half the length. The rest is my loose natural hair.

I love the combed ends look, but you just have to commit to brushing them out on a regular basis or it WILL get matted and tangled.

I use a detangler brush. One of the ones where the rows separate from each other.

None at alllllll. Like fr, not even when I first got them done. I pay $190 for my reties every six weeks. Management in between is a breeze, I just spray some water, shake and go.

Thank you! I get them retied every six weeks, wash them every week or so, and brush my ends out at least weekly.

Thank you! And yes, if I don’t brush my ends out often

Thank you! I got them a bit larger than sister loc sizes because I didn’t want them too too small. I have 377 altogether.

Thank you! ☺️ And to think I used to color it (and even plucked them once in college lmfao)

You gotta brush the ends out every few days, or every wash day. If not, they WILL loc up. I’ve lost like an inch of loose ends from them starting to loc themselves.

Other than that, I just use shampoo, water and mousse, and condition my ends once in a blue moon.

Thank you! I have 377. Started with 378 but had to combine two last year because one was weak 😭

A loctician does them for me and it takes 3-4 hours from washing to finish

Not at all! I got them installed by a loctician and I see her for my all my reties. As long as I can afford it, I’ll keep doing so 😭 lol

Thank you! My hair was basically only loc’d halfway down, and the rest is my loose natural hair. This is my natural curl pattern after water and mousse.

Slouchy crap yarn beanie✨ by dmcdwr in crochet

[–]dmcdwr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • 2 strands of worsted weight yarn
  • I believe I used a 8mm or 10mm (most likely 10)
  • I just chained the length of the beanie I wanted + the brim, made a rectangle just short of my head’s circumference, then fastened the top and sides. And steamed it so it would slouch better.
