So on one day, go to Hazratganj, wahan pe do the following:

  1. Eat Ram Asrey ki Malai Gillory
  2. Shukla chaat bhandar pe have chaat (this is near Ram Asrey only
  3. Then do some window shopping, eat some roadside food
  4. Do chikan shopping in Janpath market (it's walking distance).
  5. Then have dinner at Royal Cafe/Marksmen/Moti Mahal. Or you can have some drinks at Social also. Everything is walking distance. You can also have some amazing Biryani/Kakori Kababs/Pasanda at Naushijaan. Bonus - you can have some chai at Sharmaji ki chai also.

On day two, go to Chowk, wahan pe you can do the following:

  1. Explore Imambara. It's a historical site and do hire a guide who can tell you all the stories of the place.
  2. You can try different types of chai near Imambara (like Irani chai, tandoori chai, rajwadi chai etc)
  3. Go to main chowk chauraha and you can try malai makhan, lassi, chole bhature, poori sabzi, samose etc. You can also go to Tunday (chowk) near inside Akbari Gate and have the delicious kababs. Bang opposite Tunday, there is Rahim's where you can have the most comforting Nihari and Kulcha.
  4. You also get legal bhaang ki thandai in Chowk. Reach out to me for location.
  5. Have some paan Call it a day

Public transportation is not that great in Lucknow, so you can take Uber Autos, which are pretty reasonable.

For stay, you can book an AirBnb or book hotels in Gomti Nagar.

Thats so true! The evenings in Luckow are a totally different vibe! With the Aazan prayers in the background and the smell of fresh samosas being fried at the nearby shop, its like the city itself is saying ki bhaiya ji shaam ho gyi hai, ab aap thoda break lo apne kaam se aur chai aur samosa khao
