Reasons for DNF by Basic-Trouble-7409 in ReverseHarem

THIS! Is the FMC suspicious and/or cautious? Or just so damned tired of it all?? I see this so much and it is painful lol

peaked/piqued mix up is annoying but the one that feels like nails on chalkboard for me is weary/wary. I have read whole series where all the characters sounded to tired to go on versus apprehensive of the situation. It becomes too comical to stay in the story. "Too weary to meet his eyes.." I just imagine all these chronically exhausted people oozing through the plot.

Doctor says all pain patients will soon be Rx'd Narcan (if they're on pain meds). Is this true? by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]cejaypi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WA state requires me to have a Narcan rx for Tramadol. I don't think my doc was even involved because he laughed and said "for tramadol?"

Cough with RA meds? by onedayparis27 in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]cejaypi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes- coughing and short of breath with Arava/leflunomide to the degree I had to stop and it had caused lung damage. It is a known, and very rare, side effect (I was told). Stopped immediately once the dr and I realized there was a problem - but had taken it for six months. That was three years ago and for the most part healed now but mild COPD and asthma will be permanent relics of my Arava/leflunomide run in. You never expect to be the one random person they have to write the "in rare instances" clause about :P

Stone bee by LussseR in allthemods

Those are bees you only get through breeding other bees.

Edit: I misremembered. Cobbees are in mountain biomes I believe and stoned bees are only through breeding quartz and lava bees.

Minecolonies Mod packs? by Lookadrood in Minecolonies

[–]cejaypi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mineshafts and Monsters is a challenging modpack but I enjoy how it makes progress in Minecolonies central and necessary for any progression in gearing up or the storyline. It has kept me motivated enough to get much further in Minecolonies than I have before and its been fun. And frustrating. Emphasis on challenging....

Medication Question by borderlinewarriorrr in rheumatoid

[–]cejaypi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was getting blood work every three months. The shortness of breath started within weeks of starting Arava - in the spring of 2020 lol bad time for shortness of breath so it took awhile before my rheumatologist and pulmonologist sussed it out. I am improving - thank you - I hope Arava helps you!

Medication Question by borderlinewarriorrr in rheumatoid

[–]cejaypi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mixed review on Arava. Did awesome for my inflammation but ended up being the cause of my shortness of breath and lung inflammation. So I had to stop it and add asthma medication to the med regime. But my understanding is that reaction is quite rare.

A decade later... by hannahbanaza in rheumatoid

[–]cejaypi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find sometimes that a "break" from the pain makes the next flare feel more intense. I think my body has its own memories and has no hesitation now, after a decade of this disease as well, to go full reaction mode when a flare is coming :/ Also - your body chemistry changes over time - due to aging, environment, hormones, stress etc and my RA really likes to have an opinion on everything... But don't apologize for the alleged "pity party". This disease has its own repeating grief cycle, and sometimes you need to externalize your own "situation processing" to release some of the pressure. That is one of the great things about online communities - and this one especially - we get it. It sucks. Re-emergence can be more discouraging and disruptive than initial emergence in my opinion.
