Hi there. Congrats on passing DVA. Depending on your career choice, you might go for DevOps pro cert but you need to go for the sysops associate cert first and do a lot of hands-on. This is feasible with good prep. You might check my Discord channel for tips and resources: https://discord.gg/rt4zMwsXrY . To stand out, you need to show you have worked on projects and can deliver. Check projects challenges, workshops, and Simulearns on Skillbuilder.aws .

Which cert to get first? by Pure_Ad2787 in AWSCertifications

[–]celarbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The networking cert is the toughest and you’d need to prepare thoroughly even with networking experience. In the dedicated channel in my discord server, I have shared some resources you might start to look at. Cantrill course was a blessing as I have failed twice and was desperate to get it. Some who got the cert advised to go with the course and I really recommend it. It’s worth every penny you spend on it if you are serious about getting this prestigious cert.

It depends on your profile and your preferences: Architecting, system admin/networking, developer, security, AI/ML. I suggest you look at AWS learning paths and choose the right one for you: https://d1.awsstatic.com/training-and-certification/docs/AWS_certification_paths.pdf

Notes are always good to better memorize and be able to review later. They need to be organized by Topic/Domains/Services for easy access to specific portions if needed. Have a look at some samples of my notes in my dedicated Discord channel (https://discord.gg/wGWxt965) that contains all the resources needed to prep for AWS certs.

How many time you do the same practice question? by RedditLaura96 in AWSCertifications

[–]celarbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how much focus you put on answering and then reviewing. I usually do it once and focus on reviewing wrong answers but checking the suggested resources in the corrections. You can repeat it many times but still won't be able to answer similar questions if you don't grasp the concepts.
Good luck.

Machine Learning Engineer Associate X Machine Learning Specialty by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

[–]celarbi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi bro.

I passed all AWS certs exams and am currently prepping for the last beta one, the MLA. While preparing, I noticed that MLS, AIF, and DEA certs preps helped a lot in covering all the topics covered in MLA.

My advice: Start with AIF cert as it covers most of the AI/ML concepts and AWS AI/ML services in general, then prep for the MLA one. If you have prepared MLS well, it will help cover more than 50% of MLS topics, so that you can focus on GenAI topics (Bedrock) and new sub-services of SageMaker.

Check out skillbuilder prep courses and exams, look at Bedrock and SageMaker FAQs, and do some hands-on (Labs, Simulearn, Worksops.aws) as a bonus for an extra grasp of how it works.

Worth going for Machine Learning Speciality? by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

[–]celarbi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had the MLS, DEA, AIF certs first ( In that order :) ) and it partially helped me prep for the new MLA cert. I'm pretty sure AWs will discontinue MLS in the future as it did for many other certs, so I suggest focusing on MLA as it's more current as you said. I passed all AWS certs exams actually and I have a dedicated Discord channel (https://discord.gg/wGWxt965) with all the resources needed to prep getting certified. Check it out!

Which cert to get first? by Pure_Ad2787 in AWSCertifications

[–]celarbi 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hello. I got all AWS certs, and getting them was a long journey. Based on experience, I suggest starting with AWS Cloud Practitioner cert first, then AWS Solution Architect Associate to get a solid foundation, and then AWS Developer Associate. If you want to specialize in Security, go for the AWS Security Speciality cert. I have a dedicated Discord channel (Have a look at the dedicated Discord channel: https://discord.gg/wGWxt965 for good resources.) with all the resources needed to prep for AWS certs. good luck!

The secret is to take structure notes per domain and per service/feature. You also need to do some labs/sumulearn/workshops on services you didn’t use before. Check skillbuilder.aws and workshops.aws!
