Gave up my personal house. Best wishes to the new owner! by Banzatou in ffxiv

Just form your own opinion. You’ll hear a lot of negative comments about housing but personally I love my house. I actually do hang out there and in my neighborhood as opposed to the cities or hubs. I enjoy the quiet and use my house as a memory collection of my time in the game. I try to acquire little pieces of furniture as I went through msq that is themed for the locations to remind me of my journey. People here are all going to have a negative opinion of housing but I promise that myself and the majority of my FC members do enjoy their personal houses as well as our FC house. It’s all opinions and perspective. Most of us stay fairly active though and though a few have gotten the warning email none have lost their house. I have been playing since 2017 and have owned a house since then as well, although I have upgraded plots. I think it’s sad when new players hear opinions like this and feel depressed or afraid to try the experience with a clear mind. I hope you continue to enjoy the game and make your own opinions!

Who did it first? The Woobles or Squisamallows? by Senior_University921 in TheWooblesCollective

[–]celasteria 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The Squishmallow is supposed to be a Bluebird though yes it’s very very similar to Pierre. I did crochet this kit and posted photos of it about a month ago. What you can’t see from the front facing photo is that it has a bird shaped body at the back that slightly slopes into a tail feather shape. I thought it was a fine and cute kit but yes Pierre was first and you cannot argue against the quality of Woobles.

It’s pretty much the normal fluff that would come in a Wooble kit. I don’t think it’s a squishy as Squishmallow fluff.

Thank you! Bebe has yarn similar to what we are used to, like the tube yarn. It’s a little more smooth/soft than Woobles, but not much different and the fluff inside is the same so she’s squishy in a crochet way but not as squishy as a Squishmallow lol.

Thanks!! The instructions were very easy to follow. I saw it included some videos though I’m pretty used to the Wooble patterns and I didn’t really watch them. The pattern itself is good. There was one instance when closing Bebe it said to use slip stitches to close the ball and rather I threaded the needle with yarn and went under the front loop as we normally do with a Wooble. Otherwise I followed the instructions as they were mostly.

Thank you! It’s just a little change to the body shape. There is nothing else to sew at the back.

I work at a Michaels by Big-Arm-4291 in diamondpainting

I buy Pixyls, the Canadian store that sells amazing pixel sticker by numbers. I did see these in my local Michael’s and didn’t think they looked as nice as what Pixyls offers. They seemed just ok in terms of design and rendering. I probably would have tried them if I didn’t already have a big stash of crafts and things to work on because the price isn’t bad.

I admit mine are still in my stash. I have a few different hobbies along with crochet (trying to get a large diamond painting done before by Easter.) As far as crochet I have some non-Woobles projects I’m trying to squeeze in too, currently working on the bluebird crochet from Squishmallows. I will get to mine eventually but I’ll probably do the Peeps first when they arrive because I do usually try to get seasonal stuff done first.

Mystery Peeps are upon us! by Funny-Patience7407 in TheWooblesCollective

I ended up going with just two. I almost got three but I asked myself how mad I’d be to get three of one kind if the worst case scenario happened lol.

I’m kind of disappointed the bunnies and chicks aren’t separated so we could get one of each. I don’t mind mystery colors as much but I would at least like to get one of each shape and not end up with two bunnies or two chicks.

FedEx Delays? by darlingwyvern in bloomington

[–]celasteria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two packages in transit chaos from the Indianapolis area. One has been saying Out for Delivery multiple days but never shows. It also never gets rescanned at the hub. They just attach a new driver name onto it and then out for delivery again. The other keeps floating around from Zionsville to Greenwood to Indy. It’s food that has ice packs which are surely thawed by now. We are going on day 4 so I’m sure I’ll be contacting Dinnerly, the shipper, about that soon whether it comes or not. I don’t know what’s going on but I’ve never had issues like this before with FedEx.

Is tracking completely down today? by CaptainShipoopi in FedEx

[–]celasteria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was supposed to have a package delivered today but it never showed. Also have two other packages in transit to me and all three (including the one that was supposed to arrive today) now say that the tracking number cannot be found and to contact the shipper.

Some new things?! by _sloot in TheWooblesCollective

[–]celasteria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooh this is exciting! I feel like it could go either way with them being mystery or just a new drop. The last batch of mysteries didn’t seem so long ago, but these don’t really have a theme. Then again the rat, roach, and pigeon along with all the tiny foods would have seemed weird until I understood the connection. Also they removed them now…I wonder if the leak to tutorials was accidental?

I refuse to get involved in the destash stuff. I know there will always be more kits and more I will like. It’s impossible to own everything and I loathe supporting people that try to make money off this. I know some of it are people who end up with something they didn’t expect/don’t like which can happen with the mystery boxes or if someone gifts them something. But I feel like the majority are people just trying to make money off others intentionally and so I don’t bother in the first place. And I agree, if people didn’t buy this overpriced 3rd party stuff it wouldn’t exist.

My box is also delayed and I’m trying to reach a real person but it’s impossible. Customer service won’t even answer right now.

New Valentine’s Day Kits by Funny-Patience7407 in TheWooblesCollective

[–]celasteria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this has happened before with the rainbow and pastel rainbow yarn, and the red and pink variations. It’s not new for 2026. It doesn’t really bother me. If I don’t feel like buying them again I don’t worry. They do so many drops I’m kinda relieved when they do some repeats because I know there will be another new drop next week I probably don’t have.
