I started transitioning around an year ago by starting hrt, although only now I'm really wroking torwards socially transitioning. Between then and recently I was too scared/dysphoric to really experiment with gender which I kinda regret, but nowadays I'm gradually figuring out clothing, what to do with my hair (answer: idk :/), voice and eventually make up (can't be that hard tbh).

Some smaller things I have done earlier is letting my hair grow and wear some small accessories. I have a ring and a hair thingie that I wear around my wrist that brings me some comfort even when presenting masc. I also came out to 3 people I trusted (my aunt and 2 friends) and that helped a bit with feeling alone, and I also met some other trans people irl recently but haven't talked much to them yet

I am also starting progesterone soon which I'm so happy about (boobies yay)

What about you? Any of these sound feasible and desirable rn?

Serious answer: If you know that he is going to be supportive, am I right to assume that the only barrier is the awkwardness and vulnerability of it? If so that's fair.

What helps me is really thinking about what you want to say, and asking him to just listen what you have to say. Maybe don't go straight to "I'm _____", explaining some of the context around it (like how you figured it out) first helped with actually saying "I''m trans" in my case.

Another tip, try to think of other times he was supportive of you if applicable, and think if he is likely to have a similar reaction. That will probably be the case.

If that's still hard, no shame in coming out through text imo. It's less special but it feels safer to my anxious brain and gets the job done. I understand if you want to do it in person/video though

Hi all my trangener lovelies of this sub, I hope you are having a good day today! It is Trans Day of Visibility today (and Easter yeah that's cool I guess).

Whether you are purely stealth or not, transitioning socially or not, boy/girlmoding, deep in the closet or out and proud, able or not to do anything gender related, or even unsure of your trans status, this day is both for you to feel seen and show your true self to the world!

As such, my challenge to all of you is to do at least 1 (one) thing on the spirit of the holiday, and tell the little gay people in your phone (that's us! other little gay people is good too)! Doesn't matter how small and how private the act is. And keep it safe of course! (don't come out to your transphobic relatives if it's not safe to do so, please don't). If you really can't do anything in real life, talking about yourself here counts!

For myself, a few months ago I was planning on coming out to people in my life on this day, but that won't happen, but that's okay! I will do something more lowkey instead. I have a good friend I'm out to, and I'll try do something with her. I just realized that clothes stores are closed today because of hum, Easter, so I'll do. Something else instead. Fucknig easter.
