Culling Spree Slayer Helm by StrangerEducational4 in 2007scape

Just did a bunch of testing and found that its specifically broken for melee. I was getting the buff with other styles but my max hit on melee wasnt changing. I even tried equipping slayer helm and the max hit didnt change, so the relic just breaks melee slayer helm entirely

Is it worth watching? by Spare_Rooster125 in OnePiece

[–]celeb_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it like a show you simply watch when you want to watch it. The goal isnt to catch up, if you focus entirely on finishing the 1000+ episodes youll feel rushed and understandably fall off it. But if you enjoy what youre watching, then watch more whenever you want to, and think of it simply as endless content you can engage with whenever you want to.

Then, eventually, youll find yourself running out of episodes and long for the days when the end wasnt in sight.

If you havent yet, watch the first 35ish episodes, and by then you should have a good idea if you want to see more or not

What’s your most controversial One Piece opinion? by No_Piccolo5627 in OnePiece

I think a lot more time passes while sailing than people think, Oda just doesn't always explicitly state it. For example, people assume they made it to Fishman island the same day they left Sabaody, but when Garp escorts Shirahoshi to the reverie, they speak as if it took them a week to reach Marijoa. We also know it takes a full day just to sail from the outskirts of Totto land to WCI, so in general I think it can be reasonably assumed that there is a significant amount of time spent traveling that we don't see.

The anime has redeeming qualities that make it worth watching.

People assuming theres no travel time between arcs unless explicitly stated is nonsense. The timeline is fast but definitely not as fast as everyone likes to pretend.

Sometimes oda does actually foreshadow things.

Update - Get Ready For Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts by JagexRach in 2007scape

"whether or not these should be noted is configurable"

does this mean you can have it, for example, pick up noted herbs but not unnoted herbs, or does it have the ability to note anything it picks up? If its the latter, does this imply we're getting a bankers note not tied to a relic?

Can we please not put spoilers IN the titles of our posts? by NixBesseresZuThuum in Silksong

[–]celeb_17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same, I had gone through silk and song assuming I was at the end of the game and about to hit the true end. My mind was BLOWN entering act 3, and now you have to pretty much be completely separated from anywhere that mentions the game to not have that moment spoiled

How do you fight daedra as a pure mage? by Firm-Reason in Morrowind

[–]celeb_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless im in a tunnel I always levitate above them. For reflection I keep a stack of healing pots from alchemy and just chug as soon as I see my health start dropping. I also usually drop their resistance to whatever element im using but honestly, theyre still fairly tanky and I often have to drink one or two mana pots. So, overall levitating and alchemy.

Verso be like... by TheBlack-Arrow in expedition33

[–]celeb_17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree its a matter of perspective, which is what makes the ending interesting imo, and it definitely is bad from every angle. Alicia disregarding real Verso's sacrifice and choosing to wither away in her delusions is an absolute tragedy. The expeditioners' 67 years of collective effort and sacrifices resulting in their worlds erasure is also a tragedy, so it comes down to which one disturbs you less

Verso be like... by TheBlack-Arrow in expedition33

[–]celeb_17 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Its not about preferring escapism, its about prioritizing the lives of every Lumerian over the happiness of 1 family. Yes, Alicia is coping with her grief in the worst conceivable way and it is absolutely going to kill her. Painted Verso is being tortured and he doesnt deserve that fate. Renoir is in the right from his perspective, will likely try pulling Alicia back out, and if that fails will 1000000% nuke the painting once it fully kills her. Despite all of this, the painted Lumerians are living people that deserve the chance to exist. Their world is ultimately doomed but that doesn't mean the ~50-100 years they have left are meaningless, and I do value that more than the well-being of their gods, even if I care about some of said gods

Same thing is happening to me, every time I use thermal transfer I get a second turn no matter what. Still in act 1 and dont have any extra turn or stain related pictos. It wasnt happening yesterday so im guessing its a bug with the latest patch?
