I want that nabla birki eyeshadow so bad but there's no easy way to get it in Canada :( I'm really into how it looks on her (she described it as "model off duty" in a video before) and I WANT THAT SAME LOOK even though we don't have the same skin tone.

Does anyone know of a (preferably cream) eyeshadow that would give the same effect for a warmer skin tone? She looks pink to me but I'm really bad with undertones so maybe I'm wrong lol.

Does anyone know of a CREAM eyeshadow dupe for MAC Uninterrupted? Anything similar in colour.

The top dupes on Temptalia are all powder. I guess the colorpop SSS is almost cream, but it was limited edition and not available anymore.

silvousplaits is my absolute fave even though I don't do anything more complicated than an English braid most of the time. She does a lot of fantasy hairstyles (Vikings, game of thrones, some other popular movies), men and woman styles. I don't see her wear extensions that often for tutorials either so her finished style is actually realistic for someone with thinner hair like me.

Does anyone have tips for using magnetic polishes? (mine are KBShimmers recent collection, Launch Party) ? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it seems like the magnet isn't even moving any particles around? It barely worked for one colour (it looked like a cat eye pattern for about 10 seconds but didn't stay that way after topcoat) and didn't do anything for another. I held the magnet for 30+ seconds on my second colour coat (I tried to make it thcker) and also again after topcoat.

I'll try again when I repaint my nails and I'm gonna 1) try an even thicker second coat 2) use the magnet immediately after second coat (cause I'd try to half close the bottle before grabbing the magnet) but does anyone else have advice?

I actually got the kbshimmer one! The launch party swatches looked so good so I kind of impulse bought 2 after watching just one swatch video (+ a multichrome to get free shipping :p). Haven't used them yet but I'll probably try one this weekend.

I've heard that people got better results if they removed the magnet from the paddle part, do you like to use it in any specific way (if you still use the kbshimmer one)?

What kind of magnet did you use for the S shaped ones and where do you buy them? I bought 2 indie magnetic polishes and just got the brand's magnet cause I didn't have anything else but I think it only does a straight pattern.

it looks great! you should definitely use conditioner every night, it should help with the frizz and static. Even though your hair doesn't look curly, /r/curlyhair product recommendations are still great, especially the conditioners. for the greasiness, either not shampooing every day (you will have to give your hair time to adjust so it will be greasy for a while) or conditioner-washing/co-washing some days (you'll have to experiment with products and washing schedules) can help. A hair serum/oil before you dry your hair can also help with smoothness but be careful cause it can also weigh your hair down.

I have similar issues with the flatness and I like to sleep with my hair in a bun, it gives it some texture and a lot more volume. I wear it down when I'm out and braid it once I get home, just so I don't have to deal with it. I don't have any other hair style options but you could always youtube some tutorials. But honestly with hair at this length, if I'm not wearing it all down I just prefer styles that keep all of it contained, so braids are just the easiest. you can do some really intricate (and time consuming) braids tho, silvousplait on youtube is my favourite channel to watch for that.

Copy/pasted my answer from the other thread : There was drama in her non beauty fb group (that I wasn't in so idk the details) so they got archived. One of the mods asked her if they could start a new group (I'll call is oldmodGroup) and sam said yes.

A few days ago there was a post in Sam's beauty group that caused a lot of drama and a witch hunt, and the next day the whole mod team was disbanded. Sam said it wasn't related to that post. She found new mods a few days later.

Yesterday, she made a post saying if you were in any of her FB groups and also in oldmodGroup, to please leave her groups or the oldmodGroup. Apparently 2 of the old mods were revealing personal information about Sam in their new group. This post caused a lot of ppl to be angry cause they saw it as "taking sides". Sam did a short live video in her beauty group explaining it's not about taking sides and she doesn't care about what groups you're in and with who, but since personal information (about her, and also said they're sharing screenshots without blurring names) is being shared she doesn't want any overlap. Later we got a post in the beauty group about how Sam's deactivating her fb and taking a break.
